I have a 18' 357 for 20 gauge not sure if its the 20 ga barrel or insert but it shoots high left. I didn't have any shot shells to check so I'm not blaming the insert. Nice work for sure once I figure out the POI I'm going for a 45 colt also
For the amount you shoot get a GP100 in a caliber you like and call it a day. If you shoot lead you'll need to have the throats opened up but that's alot easier then sending a whole gun in for repairs
I* do the same thing with my 905 except I use mostly 38 S&W cases they are closer in dimension to 9mm then 38 specials. Don't get me wrong I use a lot of special cases but for hotter loads I use the S&W case. I shoot a lot of cast so my boolit of choice is a 130 gr .357 which I lightly roll...
Like stated above the 9mm can be a pain. Have you tried using one die at time to see which one is sticking? Have you tried lubing the cases I use a misting on hornady one shot. The powder jumping out of the case does it happen when the ram is down and the shell plate is indexing? If so...
