    Some Japnaese WWII Goodness

This is very similar to what I've heard as well. I don't remember the specifics, but almost all were cut down to length for some reason I don't remember.

    ishapore 2a1 jungle carbine

They were not chambered in .308, it was 7.62x51. Use .308 at your own risk, it IS NOT recommended. Definitely check the headspace first if you decide to proceed this route. The right side should be stamped 762mm2A1 The one below is mine. Edit: here is a great article on the subject...

Unlicensed open carry blocked in Mississippi

When I first moved to Hattiesburg I stopped the first cop I saw and asked him if it was legal to keep a loaded handgun in my vehicle. His exact words were "in Mississippi your vehicle is an extension of your private property, you can leave it loaded on your dashboard if you wanted." He was HPD.

    ishapore 2a1 jungle carbine

I own a 2a1 purchased for $150 about 15 years ago. I watched one sell for $400 eight months ago. It was standard with no chrome. The one you're talking about is very peculiar. I've never seen one with any chrome. Mine isn't a very accurate rifle, but the one you're talking about is priced right.

how many use a hand priming tool.

I really have no other option as I've been using a hand press. The hand primer works well enough. Its sad that I've spent nearly a grand on reloading and I'm still using a hand press. I think my priorities are all wrong :(

    Shooting a Kahr CM9

Maybe y'all could help me with my shooting. When it comes to a rifle I am a pretty good shot and can get very good groups, but shooting my pm9 I end up with holes scattered all over the bottom left of center. Pretty much the same as every pistol I shoot. Are there any videos on YouTube that...

Powley computer and estimating loaded cartridge pressure

Wow okay. Is there a cheaper alternative? Was really looking for a formula or online calculator of some form. I'm not opposed to doing math :D

Powley computer and estimating loaded cartridge pressure

Okay no idea why it won't show the rest of my post. Anyways this data only looks to be good for estimating rifle round pressures. Does anyone know of a reliable and relatively accurate way to estimate pistol round pressures?

Powley computer and estimating loaded cartridge pressure

So I was playing with http://kwk.us/powley.html <--- this and unfortunately it looks as if the data is only useful for rifles. Is there another tool that anyone knows of to estimate pressure for pistol rounds?

    135 gr LRN 9mm using w231

Just to follow up. I found several people posting a 135 gr LRN load using WST. I got really lucky and found a pound at the local shop. Going to load up 4 grains @ 1.150" OAL. This was the load I've seen recommended several times and listed on a few reloading sites. Disclaimer: do your own...

    135 gr LRN 9mm using w231

135 gr LRN 9mm using w231/edit: also wst I'm about to start loading up these for the first time. Can't find any loading data for this combo (135 gr LRN 9mm/w231). I was told 3.5-4.2gr. Does anyone have any published load data they would like to share?

    Mini 14 target model

Has to do with the pressure produced by the 5.56 NATO round. Maximum pressures are greater in the 5.56 than in the .223 factory ammo

    Ruger Mini-14 Accuracy

I have a 188 series with an accu strut that gets 1.5" groups at 100 yards. There are always flyers though as the barrel begins to heat up. Usually a flyer every 5-7 rounds. This thing is just as accurate with cheap steel cased wolf ammo as it is with everything else. My dad owns a 182 series...

    AR 15 or Mini 14

I paid $400 for my mini-14 and spent another $300 on new stock, a brace that provides stability for the barrel, and 4-factory 20 rd mags. It'll shoot sub moa groups with the occasional flyer and rarely ever malfunctions.

Why were these reloads so dirty?

Well these are my first reloads ever and I was having an issue with the bullets falling out. I started crimping them. After a while I moved the crimp out almost entirely until it was just taking the flare out. The bullets were no longer moving, but I already had done it to these 147's. I read...

Why were these reloads so dirty?

I loaded up some bayou bullets in 9mm in 115 gr, 124 gr, and 147 gr. I went the full range of the min/max loads in the books. The min loads of 3.2 gr w231 on the 147 gr @ 1.133" OAL were downright nasty. The 3.4 gr loads were a bit better. No problems whatsoever with the 115's and 124's. They...

I was a victim of an armed robbery

Wow. Its hard to say what any of us would have done in that situation. Its one of those situations where instincts/reactions and training comes in to play. I have a feeling that with the gun already pointed at my head I probably wouldn't have attempted to draw. Maybe throughout the situation you...

    Kahr cm9

Awesome! I will be doing this to my pm9. The checkering eats up my hands when shooting. As far as the break in period I had no malfunctions during mine and was using winchester white box. Never had a problem with the 7 rd mag either. A few days ago I saw a post where a guy had just finished...
