The Silvertips in .40 are a hard hitting load at 1205fps/500 ft lbs. They expand like crazey and probably don't offer the penitration LE s prefer.

I buy Blazer brass .40 at Walmart in 50 round boxes. They are 7.94 at my local WM. They acually are a few cents cheaper than the Winchester value pack wich is like 15.97 per 100 and I like the Blazer better. The Blazer is more expensive in 9mm for some reason, so I buy Winchester VP in 9mm.
