Hey guys,
Today I am having an issue removing the wood top hand guard from the gas tube on my waffen werks ak74, I tried the crescent wrench method and the vise method and all it resulted in was some sore hands. So what are my options here. Cut it off?
So I've got a question about the SKS rifle. Right now they go for $300-500. Is this because of the demand for rifles in the more available and inexpensive 7.62x39? and if so will the price drop once .223 and other calibers become more available or will it stay in this price range?
Today at an auction I bought some 30rdns of 7.62 Russian ammo. They are kind of unique because they are "precision reloaded" milsurp rounds with sp 174gr bullets. They are done by the Finnish for interarmco and have date stamps from 1939 to 1943. They also have a price sticker that says $4.69...
I'm almost positive that in the state of Idaho it is legal for an 18yo to purchase a handgun in a private sale but you might have a tough time finding someone who will sell one to you.
I carry a Taurus 627 .357 magnum when I am in the woods. I hope that I never have to use it though because it would make anyone's ears ring for a week.
A friend of mine bought a 6in rossi stainless 357 and it would out shoot my Taurus. Although my Taurus is only a 4in so the barrel length I'm sure had some impact.
Alright thanks guys seeing as this gun is new to me and I wanna get it broken in I'll probably get some of that sniper surplus to hold me over till the supple comes back
Hey guys just picked up a m24/47 Yugoslavian Mauser on the cheap. The problem is I cant find any ammo locally. I am not 21 so I cannot order from jgsales. Any Ideas? Also the cheapest ammo I can find is corrosive for 50 cents a round which I think is a bit pricey. Maybe i'm wrong though. Thanks...
The other day I created a post about my rcbs dies I had recently acquired. The dies were missing the correct expander decapper/expander rod so I asked about the them. Someone recommended to me that I should contact RCBS to see if I could buy the part of the die so I did. Today I got an email...
Yea thanks guys I figured it out I deprime using a rifle deprimer and then use the expander. Its just when I try to use them together I have to over expand to reach the primer.
Does anyone have some data that I could use with Winchester 296, cci small pistol magnum primers and berrys 158gr flat nose or round nose bullets? Thanks
I have some data for w296 for 158 JHP in my nosler manual but I can't find any JHP at this time. Thanks
So I'm new to reloading and bought an old set of RCBS dies in .357 magnum. I started reloading and ran into this problem. The 2nd die expands and deprimes. It is labeled 38 spec on top and over belled my case. Is there anyway to extend the depriming rod to cause it to bell less? Thanks in advance
