Well, I took a close look again today, with fresh eyes and better light. It's a small scratch. I'm confident that nothing I did caused it, so Jim Watson's theory is probably correct that it was caused by the chamber reamer. It's never caused a problem so I'm just going to keep an eye on it for now.

I'd recommend against small of back carry... One unlucky fall and you'll be in a wheelchair for the rest of your life. the Comp-tac C-T.A.C. seems like a favorite for these guns. I'll be buying one for my G29.

Lennyjoe, I'm curious why you say that. I've run thousands of rounds of Blazer through my G20 with absolutely no malfunctions, no unusual amount of fouling, no wear or damage to any parts, or any other problems.
