How are they going to search 130 million homes?

Also something many people don't know - is once Martial Law is declared the Constitution is suspended. Many folks are not aware of that.

    Another Good Samaratan Shot

Thank God the thug was using hollow points in the TEC-9 (Although it looked similar to an AP9) which is why it caused it to fail. Obviously the first round went off because it was in the chamber. So this criminals lack of experience with said weapon saved this young man's life.

How are they going to search 130 million homes?

I have seen door to door gun confiscation. In New Orleans after Martial Law was declared in the wake of Hurricane Katrina and they went door to door taking guns. I remember footage of the police there wrestling down and body slamming an elderly woman for her .38 snubnose she refused to...

How are they going to search 130 million homes?

You are so sure they would never do it. If they do, you had better have a plan. I also find the "No sir, no guns" and "Lost them in a boating accident" guys humorous. Ok, you tricked them into thinking you have no guns. Now if you are caught with one of your guns or someone bitter against you...

Gun buyout: how much wlll the .Gov have to pay?

Disgusting. I would hope people on this forum have made peace and made their decision on what to do if this situation arises. In the end, people intent on carnage could always turn to explosives and IED's to cause deaths here instead of guns.. Which we definitely don't want. You saw what...

    9mm upper for AR15

Price are so high on 9mm uppers. I'd want it to take glock magazines and that raises it further.

Oldest M2 machine gun that was still in service

The Soviet DShk can arguably be stated as just as reliable. I've seen numerous in Iraq with 1938 and newer stamp dates - and they really get used and neglected there. And you're defiantly aware when it's being fired at you.

    Why use +P ammo?

Exactly. I know I've heard people say stay away from +P in older firearms like Lugers and other WWII and pre weapons, but I know many that would not cycle correctly not just because of round OAL but due to the round being under powered. You can buy under powered springs now.

    Body armor defeating 9mm?

The solid copper base will continue to penetrate around 11" of gel. I imagine the ATF is unaware. Enough to pass through clay behind the armor.

    Why use +P ammo?

I believe you mean +P+ is where "nobody agrees" and there is no standard for.

    Why use +P ammo?

+P is just what standard ammunition power was before 1972. After, they watered everything down. Europe still has some hotter standard 9mm loads. +P duplicated what standard 9mm loads were before 1972.

    Body armor defeating 9mm?

Gimmick load Liberty Defense +P 50gr will penetrate IIIa. How do I know? I've done it with a glock 19. Velocity is key.

NOT A TROLL - Serious Question

You seem to be forgetting the population of America is massive compared to European countries, Texas itself is bigger then Germany and France combined. So with higher population and guns of course the numbers will be strewn. If a European country was as populated as the US I think you may see...

Americans bought enough guns on Black Friday to arm Marine Corps!

I'm glad to hear this honestly. Now manufacture more, and arm more.

Pretty sure it will be ammo next

I came up with a great idea. How about we ban mass shootings? Also, the shooters had 30 round magazines. How is that possible? Those are BANNED in the state of California.

    9mm at 9x23 pressures?

The L7A1 was made for the Sterling SMG. Unsafe for any 9mm platform? Open bolt submachineguns can handle nearly any 9mm load you can cook up. I've seen a swedish K SMG eat double and triple charges before like it was normal rounds without effort or damage. I talked with a collector who converted...

    460 S&W question

So a buddy of mine inherited a .460 S&W. He wanted to experiment with light under penetrating loads with high energy. I wasn't sure. Could you get a 170 grain solid copper round to reach 3000fps out of the 460 S&W hand-loading?
