    Future of the CMP?

Do you think that the future of the CMP may be in jeopardy under the new administration? I feel that the program is still around because it flies very low under the radar and most non shooters have never heard of it. Can you imagine what the reaction will be when they(the new admin.) finds out...

    2008 Olympic ammo supplier

Just finished watching womans trap(via the web) and was wondering what ammo do they use for the Olympics. It looked to me to be some very fast loads. I can't believe how fast those clays move and how quickly the shooters nail it. I meant 2008 not 2009 Olympics ( big fingers small keyboard)

Got Pulled over By 4 cops today while carting (CA)

Just wondering ? So, what range did he (the cop) suggest? Man! I need to be more careful, I often carry my ammo (sometimes loaded in the mags, saves time) in the same range bag as my pistol. The ammo and gun are only separated by the gun sleeve/compartment...I think that is technically a...

14 year old needs to learn how to shoot

Thanks guys for all the suggestions. I am looking into the local rifle club (LARC) as they shoot at a range only 40min away from us and have low power matches. I intend to be a student also so we can share in the experience together. I do know how to shoot a rifle (the basics) but don't...

14 year old needs to learn how to shoot

My 14-year-old son wants to become a Marine sniper. I have mixed feelings about being a sniper, but I don’t have a problem about him learning to shoot accurately. But that’s the rub, I’m mostly a pistol type of guy and don’t shoot rifles much. When I do shoot a rifle it’s for cowboy or I am...
