    Full Auto Collection for Sale

Sounds like a good deal to me, the Uzi is probably 10k+, Thompson 30k+, BAR at least 20k and the AR at least 15. That's just a guess cause I'm not up on current MG prices and it could be worth significantly more

    Gunbroker question

I've sold lots of guns on gunbroker and had lots of guns shipped from FFLs and it has always been through email or fax, never heard of that before. Sounds like he's trying to get an extra $25 out of you

    Any info on this ammo?

I'm looking for any info you have on this ammo, looking for a value too, any help is appreciated

Will polishing my internals hurt my guns?

Send your saiga bolt and carrier out to someone who offers a polishing and reprofile service if you don't think you can do it yourself, not Pauly though as he stole a bunch of people's carriers. Don't listen to anyone who says leave it alone unless you're ok shooting only buck and slugs, this...

do you have a gun rack in the back window of your truck?

It wouldn't be a bad idea to transport guns but not leave unattended depending on where you live, I wouldn't do it here though as I'd definitely get pulled over, and I don't own a truck.

Will polishing my internals hurt my guns?

It will help with the saiga, no idea about the nano

    Blocking barrel ports

Yes you can block the ports, some muzzle brakes even have a built in piece allowing you to do so, that said I think rcmodel is trying to keep you from wasting time and money. Ported shotgun barrels are generally only marginally effective, and if you have found one that is so effective it pushes...

Does this have prison time written all over it?

That has moron seller written all over it. That gun was never full auto or open bolt. It would also be next to impossible to convert to full auto unlike the open bolt semis. Also, there is no such thing as a registered sear or bolt for the m10/11, the semi autos are so different they are...

    Safe Queens

I have shot the majority of my guns. If I spend a few thousand on a new or non collectible gun, I'm going to shoot it. On the other hand if I spend that money on a gun just for collector value that may be devalued by shooting it will sit in the safe. I shoot and collect, lots of people seem to...

    Whats your caliber footprint?

    9mm 44 magnum 7.62x39 .308 30-06 8mm Mauser 458 Lott .22lr 5.45x39 .22 magnum .410 16ga 12ga I think that's about it, used to have a lot more but have pruned my collection recently

no way, man, that is such rubbish!

Most absurd story I've ever been told was by a guy who claimed to have killed a deer at 1300 yards with a .223 rifle with a tasco mounted on it and a bipod put on backwards. He also claimed to have been given some sort of award for making that shot. Same gun he used for bear hunting too, never...

selling a gun - any feelings of responsibility?

A question for those of you who only sell to CCW permit holders. Say you were selling a handgun FTF to someone 18-20 years old who could legally purchase handguns in FTF transactions, but could not get a CCW in the state you are in, would you accept an approved form 1 in place of the carry...

    Most powerful reasonable caliber?

I agree with this, I find a 300 weatherby fairly unpleasant to shoot, but the 458 Lott isn't painful at all and very enjoyable. I noticed a lot of people new to big bores will let the gun jump up and slap them in the face, contributing to their dislike of large calibers.

    Most powerful reasonable caliber?

Biggest one I own is a 458 Lott which I find very enjoyable to shoot, I could easily shoot a box in one session because my wallet is usually hurting before my shoulder. Largest caliber I've shot is 505 Gibbs and it was definitely stout but not uncomfortable and I'd like to pick up a cz550 in...

Does it bother anyone to see a nice firearm neglected?

I once bought a Walther g22 for like $150 because someone had traded it into a gun shop because it was "broken". Turns out it had never been cleaned and after taking it apart I can see why, that thing was a pain to put back together.

Which Firearm Has Been a Pleasant Surprise?

For me it would be two guns i currently own, a heritage arms rough rider .22 revolver which I picked up for about $110, I read several reviews about them having issues after 1k rounds and not being very accurate, well 10-15k rounds later I was very pleased with performance and accuracy. Another...

Opinions on a trade i'm considering

You're trading both handguns? Sounds like you're trading $1000 worth of pistols for $6-700 worth of AK, I'd suggest sticking one of them on gunbroker and ordering an AK with the proceeds. That is not a deal I would take

    AK47 Gunsmith?

Another possibility is to trade someone for a mag catch from a saiga 7.62x39 which is longer and you could fit it until your magazines lock in correctly

    Walther/IWI/Umarex Uzi .22LR Rifle

I've been considering getting one of these to go with my 9mm Uzi. One thing I wondered is if they take regular Uzi handguards, since I'd want to put a factory K grip on. Odd Job: it looks like a standard Uzi top cover may fit or be modified to fit, I don't know how common they are in the UK...
