I had my magazine safety spring reduced to lessen the weight and grittiness on the trigger. This weekend, I had my gunsmith remove the magazine safety altogether and it is now smoother than ever. Only negative was some dents on the trigger pin hole because the pin was hard to remove on my MkIIIs.

By design, I think it would be impossible for the BHP to fire out of battery. The linkage of the sear and trigger would not align until the slide is fully forward. That is what looks like from my own BHP.

Yup the magazines have stamped on the side "Made in Brazil". They are original Taurus magazines in a shrink wrap with a carton backing. I will try to get some based on your recommendations.

Thanks for the reply. I also saw they had Taurus PT917 magazines which were 17-rounds. It had a different follower. Would this also work in a PT92? The Taurus PT917 is like the PT92 except the slide and barrel are 1/2 inch shorter.
