I have used 150 partitions in 300wsm at over 3300 fps at the muzzle. It knocks deer down every time, punches 2 holes and no red goo. Eat right up to the hole. 130 Nosler boat tails in 270win blew up hitting a rib at 100 yards. Lots of red goo and one hole not so good to me. YMMV

I have loaded 100 Sierra 125 HPs and they shoot well in my 70s Marlin 336. I'd use them on coyotes, beavers, and probably deer. Probably not a bad hog round either.

I always keep antlers from any buck I kill. The dogs love antlers so if I don't want to display them the pups will chew them up.
