A more common occurrence. I can't find something I know I have somewhere. Got too much stuff accumulated over too many years. Anyway, son Chris and I shot the Ruger Old Army yesterday. I started to clean it this morning. I found a nipple wrench but it wouldn't fit the Treso nipples. Not...
This guy took a Walker 45Colt conversion and developed a wildcat cartridge. I think somewhere one was converted to 460 S&W but I can't find that video.

Not my idea. Just picked it up somewhere. I just picked up a couple of drill bits handy to show concept. You probably should use brass or even wooden pegs.
I use about anything handy. Plastic or wood screwdriver handle, block of hardwood. I have a scrap section of antler I keep in my black powder box. A short chunk of main beam and a point. It makes a little hammer by using the point as a handle. Then turnered around, the pint is used to push...
I had a Walker for a couple of weeks. ASM if I remember right. Walked into a gun and pawn that had one in an oak box with the accessories. Didn't look like it had been fired. But must have had caps busted on it and not cleaned. A little handling rust. The price was already low. But I talked...
One thing I've not seen mentioned is, 3f seems to flow better through a powder measure or flask with valve. I got to where I just use scoops most of the time just to avoid the overhead of setting up and cleaning up of powder measures.
I see it this way. Guy want to hunt in state that only allows shotgun and muzzle loader to deer/bear hunt. Drives a ton dully diesel pickup but never hauls or pulls anything or gets off pavement. Money is not an object to gaining some advantage with his high-tech inline.
Years ago I bought a jar of it that had a broken lid. Price cut in half of that time's price but still too expensive. I used it to load for an old Webley Mark IV. I wasn't impressed. I think it's mostly for maximum performance in modern inline muzzle loaders. Good ol black powder works just fine.
