Of your listed options, I will say Sig 1911. I have the Tactical Operations, great gun, shoots and handles very well. Everythign is fit together very nicely as well. Actually don't have a single bad thing to say about it. Course I prefer 1911 to any other handgun

My keltec had to go back to them, took about 3 weeks and came back wtih a new barrel and or slide (according to the work order) and now works great.

only times in my life I've open carried a gun was a Beretta M9, once with an M4 and once wtih an M16A4. Short of the end of the world as we know it, I don't plan to open carry a weapon in my life. Seems like a horrible idea.

I have a GSG 1911 which is a .22. Shoots very well. Initially had some issues breaking guide rods but they seem to have fixed that issue

Glock to me has always seemed like they don't really care about individual sales, but more LE dept sales. So unless somebody wants a single stack gun, in large numbers... Probably not.:( I'd love to have a 1911 sized .45ACP Glock.

I've built stocks from blanks before, my oh my is it a pain. was hoping maybe they'd come out with one I never saw someplace. I've even got a couple of blanks in my basement but that's a road I don't want to go down lol. Thanks for trying y'all.

I've got a 1911 I want to get some custom engraving done on (not sure exactly what yet) but I want it refinished as well in a Kimber Eclipse style finish. Is there anybody out there that does that? And if so what's it going to cost me? I want somebody you can trust with it all.
