I see the brass all the time. Even known people to willingly fire 9mm in 40 cause it was cheaper. By the way people are stupid. I seen a video somewhere of a 223 being fired in a 9mm. The pistol had to be assembled around the round.
You can also put just 1 round at a time in your AP & run that 1 round from fired to finished. I have used my Pro1000 to load 243 & even 30-06. I drilled a hole in the turret so it didn't auto advance & I'd rotate the shell plate at the bottom of the stroke. It is a great press to load 45ACP on...
For about 2 cents I get a primer & seat it. I guess if one fails to seat I'll be out 2 cents but that wold have to happen 500 times to pay for the tool.
Well I think Remington makes fire crackers because they shoot like crap. I don't think Federal is much better. But at one time I shot Hornady in my 30-06 & it shot same hole so close that it was hard to tell there was more then one shot at 100yards. It shot 3" at 300 but my scope wasn't great...
