Today I was out with my son and several of his friends and we were bump firing my nephews AR15. (My nephew is in Iraq, and asked me to keep it warm for him:).)
Another shooting buddy of mine, ruined 2 new Shileen barrels last year hunting prairie dogs by getting the barrels too hot. To the...
I am curious to know which state level pro gun organizations are/have been the most effective at gaining and maintaining pro gun legislation?
I am quite familiar with who/what helped us gain ground here in Missouri, but know little about groups in other states. I wonder if there is an...
After checking Packing.org site, I see that Washington state only honors a few other state CCW license. I have both FL and PA nonresident permits which apparently leaves me out of luck. Washington seems rather gun freindly and so I was surprised to find this out. Can anyone explain why they...
While looking for some info on the net for a guy at work, I came across a very intersting site on Jap pistols. I don't own any myself and won't be buying any anytime soon but thought I would link to this woman's site as it is rather well done and has a wealth of info. Check it out Here...
In a nutshell. Can a C&R holder sell a C&R longun to an individual in a neighboring state?(Given no State law against such transaction.) Or.... does a type 1 ffl have to get involved?
Can't seem to find the anwser after several lengthy searches. :o
The title says it all. Those who carry a 3" k-frame, what rig are you using and why?
Below is a review of my current carry rig, (seen here ) I posted in response to a question by another board member at MOcarry.com.
I've had Hoffner's ITP Mirage for the 3 and 4" K frame revolvers since...
The title basicly asks what I'm wondering.
What are the options out there for a light weight ccw revolver that is either prelock/nolock ( :barf: is how I feel about the internal locks.)
I seem to remember seeing some 637s at a gunshow that were prelock? Did they make others 642 342 ect...
Does anyone know for sure what make and model of pistol the TSA has been issuing to pilots. I have been told they issue some type of HK and each pilot is issued two guns, one for range practice and another to use while in flight. Can anyone verify this? Comments?
A friend of mine at work asked me to help him date a S&W model 66-2. On the heel of the grip frame it says AYN9xxx. Any help would be appreciated.
BTW, Is there a site on the web where I can go to punch numbers like these in myself and not have to bother you guys? :D

Well... after a long search for the perfect grip for my S&W model 65 K-frame square butt, I ordered this.
So I'm wondering... does anybody have any experence with this grip? My main motovation is to find grips that are both concealable and shootable. I love the Houge monogrips on there...
On the cover of the January issue of Muzzle Blasts(monthly publication of the NMLRA) is a very interesting rifle. Inside on page four specifications are listed for this rifle. Listed in the specs is the following: "Barrel form: squared"
What does "squared" mean in this case? The barrel is...
After reading the thread about which mauser to buy.... I went to Sarco's site and noticed they have some rimfire rifles for a very attractive price. link
Does anybody have any experience with these rifles? Any info would be appreciated. TIA
I noticed that Centerfire systems is selling parts kits for these. Does anybody have any experience with these kits. My guess is they are modified to meet BATF specs, thus they are semiauto? Any info of any kind would be appreciated and TIA to all who reply.
For those CCW a revolver where and how do you carry your reload? Let's hear your experiences, good and bad. It seems to me the reload for a revolver is a lot tougher to carry and to reload. I know with practice you can become good at about anything but I see the reloading aspect of...
In reading here and other places on the web over the past several years I see the the occasional 3" K frame Smith as a carry peice. My question: has anyone carried concealed a 4" K frame Smith or any other 4" revolver??
I have a 4" model 65 that I like but hadn't really given the thought...
Many here probably saw the earlier threads about this magazine.
If you didn't, just do a search.
Anyway, when first advertised I was very interested but was a little put off by the price, about $44 for a year of 6 issuses. It was brought to my attention by a poster over at another board...

Breaking news from just down the street from my place of employment.
More blood on the hands of those who opposed CCW here in Kansas:cuss:
It looks like both SOG and AIM have K-31s for sale. Opinions on either of these dealers or recomendations for other dealers? Should I spend half again as much and go with Allans Armory? Help me spend my money:D :D
edited to add: I do have a C&R
