Opinions on best AR sight based on the following criteria

An Aimpoint PRO is hardly light weight. Especially not with the standard mount it comes on. Since price wasn't one of your factors, I'd suggest the Aimpoint T or H series. Plenty of mounting options for them. Not cheap though.

Thoughts on new production Russian knives.

I have been wondering this too, specifically regarding Kizlyar Supreme. Knifeworks.com has had many of them on closeout for a while, some with very attractive prices. Did a bunch of searching a while back, and could find no real reviews of them anywhere. However, I seem to remember that there...

New Silencerco Hybrid; On the way!

I decided on a Hybrid as well, even though the only host I'll have for it is an AR in .300blk. I figured I could add hosts later if I felt the need. Accessories for this thing sure are pricey though - $92 for a front cap? ridiculous.

Do rust preventatives work as advertised?

OP, see the sticky post in this category. Thank DIY_Guy later.

    My new lube!

These kinds of tests remind me of all the bad sunday morning info-mercials that I used to see for things like Slick50 and ProLong and...and...and...

Looking for 'The One' EDC folding pocket knife

Good lookin out! I think it stinks that they won't swap the scales for you, even at a cost. But that would pretty much undermine the whole new line if they allowed that to happen, although I'm sure they'd get a few sales for the updated steel too. Love that they came out with the updated...

Looking for 'The One' EDC folding pocket knife

In fact, I started down that path but quickly lost steam. Maybe something to pick up again during the winter. I knew they came out with the G10 version of the mini-grips. I wonder if they have plans to come out with them for the mini-barrage too, or if they'd sell them as a separate option...

Looking for 'The One' EDC folding pocket knife

Thanks. I'm always appreciative of any suggestions I get. I started this quest based on something I already have that meets my needs, but was hoping there was something else out there that I just wasn't aware of where I wouldn't need to make compromises . It would seem that there isn't...

Looking for 'The One' EDC folding pocket knife

The Link at 4oz is just a bit too heavy for what I'm looking for. As for the mini-grip, if they made an assisted opening version of it, that would definitely be my first choice (and I have seriously considered just getting a Doug Ritter Mini-RSK and calling it good).

Looking for 'The One' EDC folding pocket knife

Thanks, but I already have a Leek which I like very much, but it's clip can't be moved for left-side carry. I like the Leek so much that I am considering drilling and tapping the steel handle to accommodate the clip though.

Looking for 'The One' EDC folding pocket knife

Thanks, this is another one I'll have to check out. I never said better, although I can understand why you may have inferred that. As JShirley alluded to, it has more to do with country of origin than performance of the steel. Plus, the SOG has the blade grind that I prefer, which is more...

Looking for 'The One' EDC folding pocket knife

The only ZT I had looked at was the 0350, which I was sure was going to be 'The One', but it's still a bit bigger and chunkier and heavier than I want. Based on what I found on Knife Center, the 0770CF looks like a match: and maybe the 0450 too. As far as Kershaw goes, every...

Looking for 'The One' EDC folding pocket knife

Thanks guys, at least now I know it's not just me that's having a hard time finding something that meet all those points. hso, I'll have to read up more on Michigan's knife laws, but I think auto's are a no-no here. But I wouldn't be against having one if I could afford it. jmr40, I...

Looking for 'The One' EDC folding pocket knife

First let me start off by apologizing - I generally dislike posts where someone asks everyone to do their legwork for them, but I've been looking for a while, and am not finding what I'm after. So I'm on the hunt for the perfect EDC folder for me. Things that I'm after: ~3" blade - a...

    GF gun part ONE

Yep, it is. I didn't know they'd re-released the 225, thanks, now I'm going to have to go check those out. I actually have a P239 in 9mm as well, but I didn't mention it because this was about wives/GF's and what they like to shoot. I think it is a good recommendation though, thanks for...

Thinking about a KelTec or Highpoint Carbine

I wish the non-glock sub2000 models were more prevalent. Would love to find one that took the S&W mags to go along with my 5904 and P11. Guess I'll have to stay content with my Marlin Camp 9.
