    Powder for Multiple Cartridges

For 10mm it is probably better to go with jacketed bullets. This is the recommendation from Xtreme: "Any velocities over 1200 FPS we recommend either our Heavy Plate Concave Base or Hollow Point products for superior accuracy."

    Powder for Multiple Cartridges

Let us know how the 10mm testing goes with BE86. I am in the same boat, not loading 10mm, but trying to help out a neighbor with 10mm loads. My current plan is to use 180gr FMJ FP bullets, using BE86 from 7.7gr to 8.5gr, with a COL of 1.25". We haven't loaded anything yet since we are still in...

    New .40 S&W loader. (I think I'm prepared)

I hardly see any cracks in my .40 cases, so I will throw out any case with a crack in the neck. Safety comes first.

    New .40 S&W loader. (I think I'm prepared)

Thanks for the better explanation. My method is not perfect, but it helps when things are very close to the limits. I actually use your method, then after the bullet has been inserted, measure the length from the bottom of the case to the bottom of the bullet, an upside COL. I then use this...

    New .40 S&W loader. (I think I'm prepared)

I am not a perfectionist, but those loads do not looks good. Coating is missing and it looks like the bullet ogive is inside the case neck. This is what I do to verify the ogive is outside the case neck. I use another resized case and put it neck down on the bullet side of the round. If the...

    New .40 S&W loader. (I think I'm prepared)

With that velocity and an 180gr bullet, there shouldn't be any problems cycling. Make sure you don't limp wrist, and do the plunk and setback test. With the setback test you should get a feel if there is a problem with the cycling since you manually cycling it through from the magazine.

Anyone used the RMR 135gr 9mm Matchwinners?

I don't know if this is the match winner bullet, but probably close. Hodgdon load data: 9mm: 9mm +P:

Advice from a professional. -Lube your pistol cases.

I have been in the camp of not using lube for resizing of pistol cases, but I have made one exception. When resizing 9mm with a Lee APP, cases will get stuck in the Lee X-Press shell holder when pulling the case out of the die. Lee recommends using a lube when resizing 9mm with the Lee APP, and...

WTK: Lee 10mm Bulge buster Die

The .40s&w Lee FCD is used as bulge buster for .40s&w, 357sig and 10mm.

    .380 ACP

The 95gr FMJ from RMR should be close in weight and just below 10 cents a bullet. https://www.rmrbullets.com/shop/bullets/pistol/9mm-355/380-95-gr-rmr-fmj-round-nose-bullets-new/ Sorry, I don't have any load test data with this 95gr bullet and Unique, but I do have some with BE86, CFE Pistol...

    Titegroup and 115 gr fmj

    I don't have a lot of test data with 115gr fmjrn and Titegroup, but following is a load I have tested: 9mm, P365X, 3.1" Case: FC COL: 1.125" RMR, 115gr, FMJRN, TiteGroup, 4.5gr, FED100 Average: 1120 ES: 46 SD: 17.9 Force: 320 PF: 128 Velocities: 1098, 1144, 1115, 1113, 1132 Grouping @ 10yd...

The pitfalls of relying on reloaded ammo.

I'm not sure this is correct based on your measurements. Your measurements shows a diameter at the top to the rim of .361", I assume mouth of case. There can't be a flare. The 9mm bullet is .355", with a case wall thickness of .01" or more. This gives you a diameter of .355" + .01" + .01" =...

Confusing results with 9mm and CFE Pistol

I'm not saying you are wrong, but it takes some experimenting to find what will work. For me in 357sig, CFE Pistol and the 147gr RMR Match Winner bullet is my go-to load for accuracy. In 9mm, CFE Pistol is not my most accurate load, but it does very well with a 115gr MPR bullet. I think CFE...

    9mm target load

Understood. So the key is to make PF and accuracy is secondary. Just a correction on my previous post. I indicated "I have done a lot with AA#5", but it should be "I have not done a lot with AA#5". I have corrected my pervious post. Enjoy your quest to find a good target load and make PF. I...

    9mm target load

Looks like you are trying to find an accurate AA#5 load. I have not done a lot with AA#5, but the most accurate for me so far in 9mm is the following load. I think I had a flyer using my red dot: 9mm, P365X, 3.1" Case: WIN COL: 1.075" RMR, 115gr, MPRJHP, AA5, 6.4gr, FED100 Average: 1052 ES: 30...

    9mm target load

That looks like some good shooting. I just have a few questions. At what distance did you test your loads? Did you use a rest? Did you measure you group sizes? Why only 3 shot groups?

    9mm target load

    I'm not sure where the reputation comes from, but PP is accurate. This is at 15yards using a rest. 9mm, SP2022, 3.9" Case: FC COL: 1.065" RMR, 124gr, TCFPMW, PowerPistol, 5.6gr, CCI500 Average: 1058 ES: 34 SD: 12.8 Force: 308 PF: 131 Velocities: 1045, 1061, 1053, 1079, 1054 Grouping @ 15yd...

    New .40 S&W loader. (I think I'm prepared)

Don't forget about W244. I like W244 with a 180gr FMJFP for accuracy and below full power load. If you want to step it up to higher velocity, Longshot has always been known as a good powder for 40S&W.

    New .40 S&W loader. (I think I'm prepared)

40S&W is an easy cartridge to load. Just make sure you do your normal due diligence for a new cartridge/bullet combination and do a setback and plunk test with dummy rounds. I have loaded a lot of pulled bullets, without any issues, so there should be a wide range of bullets you can pick from...

Reloading Data for 124 grain RMR Nuke?

I was thinking how I can contribute to this thread, then saw your post with the test result "Extremely accurate!". Thanks for sharing your load data! I have an unopened one pounder of Silhouette and was thinking what the best way will be to use it. Your post helped me making up my mind.
