    Shadow Systems MR920

Just bought a MR920 black with threaded barrel. Looking good. So which parts do interchange with G19 gen4? The striker looks different. I would change mag release button, too. And rear night sight-can I do Ameriglo G19 sights? TIA

    Best of the new 9mm's?

CZ P-10c for me, and i tried all of the above plus 320c. P10c fits my hand the best, totally reliable with all ammo I used (unlike PPQ) and trigger has short reset. I now own two CZs and the rest is Gen 4 Glocks. A couple of 1911 and my collection is complete.

    g19 vs Walther 99

PPQ is slightly taller than G19. I was trained with G19 and carried G17 and G19 for, hate to say, almost 30 years, so Gen4 G19 is the gun I carry. But PPQ is a great gun with a very light trigger. You need to be trained well not to double-tap it when adrenaline rushes. Also, the rear sight on...

    Tikka T3X in Stock

T3X 223 twist rate Woodnik, what is the twist rate on your 223 T3X? Thanks

    Tikka T3x, anyone seen one?

Thanks. My old Tikka T3 in .223 weighed 6.2 lbs with empty mag. On Tikka website, it says the same caliber T3x weights 5.9 lbs. Can be an error. But the 1:8 twist is a plus. I am only interested in .223 for plinking. Will check Whittakers.

    Tikka T3x, anyone seen one?

I got a desire for a rifle in .223. I had Tikka T3 years ago, but sold when I had a rough patch in life. Now Sako/Tikka came up with T3x, which seems to be an improved version of T3. I like the specs very much: steel bolt shroud, weighs less than 6 lbs, improved stock, and the 1:8 twist is back...

9 mm with a short trigger pull

Walther PPS is a great pistol. It fits my hand very well and the trigger reach is very comfortable and actually shorter than PPQ by about 0.1 inch. The trigger pull improved after about 300 rds fired and is crisp and breaks cleanly and smoothly at 5.5 lbs. I like the trigger better than Kahr's...

9 mm with a short trigger pull

Thanks everyone. I have never seen Daewoo or single-action P226, but Walther PPS does it for me. It's trigger length or reach is 2.7 inch, smaller than Sig with SRT. It is also quite shootable for its size and easy to rack the slide. Mag release is easy to reach with my crooked fingers. I am...

9 mm with a short trigger pull

What about Sig 938? Single-action all right. I will try how it fits. Some reliability issues reports.

9 mm with a short trigger pull

I had 5 fine BHPs over the years, but sold them at various stages of my life. Getting one now is expensive and I want something more modern. I kept H&K P2000, which I like and have good recent memories associated with it. When it is in single-action mode, it is perfect for me, but in DA mode...

9 mm with a short trigger pull

I am going arthritic and my trigger finger is kind of crooked and is getting shorter. Otherwise, I have medium-size hands. Carried issued 92 and G17 with no problems when I was younger. I have sold CZ-75 because of this problem. Tried Sig P229, same story. Even Walther p99 seems a bit long for...

CZ 527 American or Browning X bolt in 223?

I would like to get an accurate, light rifle as a walk around warmint and for plinking into a 300-yard range. :)I would get CZ 527 or Browning X-bolt. It is said that CZ is going to switch to 1:9 twist next year (which is positive for me), but they lack the synthetic stock that I want...

    Which 6-24x42 Scope for $400?

The best of what you describe would be Bushnell Elite 4200. Coincidentally, I have one for sale, in excellent condition.

    coachguns

weight I am finding some ads saying that Baikal 220 coach gun weighs 6 lbs, some saying it weighs 10.5 lbs. On EAA website, the MP220 model with 20" barrels weighs 8 lbs, but it is single trigger. I want a double-trigger model. I just want to know more precisely how much it weighs.

How heavy is the new Baikal coach gun? Is really 9.5 pounds?

    M&p 340

A few pics of my Smith 340 no IL revo. I practice at 25 yds and can hit a chest-size target consistently. The gun beats my thumb and draws blood sometimes after 50 rds of 38+P, so I started carrying a glove with me when I practice. Have not shot any magnum loads yet and actually have no desire...

    S&W M&P 340 no IL range report

I spotted a no-lock S&W 340 on gunbroker and bought it for $650+S&H. It came in a paper box and not in a nice blue polymer box one expects from S&W. I already mailed a $50 promo coupon to S&W and will see how long it will take to get the money back. The revolver is extremely nice; I enjoy...

    M&p 340

340 on order I ordered a M&P340 no internal lock from Hyatt Gun Store over a month ago :cuss: Can't wait to get it. Are these special runs? :uhoh:

Smith 686-6 won't reliably set off primers.

I had a similar problem with S&W Mod 60. It would misfire 40% of the time. Sent it to S&W TWICE, they changed all parts even remotely relevant for the problem. Also, added back the IL I had had removed. And- the gun still misfired 40% of the time. Adding extended firing pin...
