    Springfield 1903 Safety?

So from my research anything below about 800,000 should NOT be fired due to safety concerns. My rifle is in the 950,000 range. I just wanted to make sure that the latest is still anything over 800,000 is safe... thanks. -Eric

    Multi-State Pistol Permits

I have UT and VA (never got around to getting NH). You can get FL via mail also, but with UT/VA/NH you get the same you get with FL if I recall. That and FL is expensive. UT requires a UT Certified instructor, but beyond that it just requires mailing in the form.

Where to buy AK Online or in NOVA

I am looking to pick up some sort of AK. 7.62x39, Bayonet Lug, Slant Brake, Fixed or Folding. Looking at a GP WASR 10, but not set on it. Anyone have recomendations on places to look in NOVA or online? (I know about Classic Arms, AIM Surplus, and Military Gun Supply). Looking for any leads...

For the love of pete. Fumigation was a nightmare.

+1 for re-keying. Once you give away your keys to anyone like that I would re-key.

NFA interpretation - what is 'manufacturing'?

Assembly != Manufacturing. Otherwise everyone who purchased a stripped receiver and built it up would be breaking the law. You are only manufacturing a firearm if you are producing the serial numbered part. At least thats my non lawyerly reading.

Phila Mayor: "Nutter: NRA should apologize to slain cop's family"

My $0.02. As far as I can tell robbing a bank and killing a cop were both illegal and that didn't seem to stop him. I somehow doubt that telling him his gun was in violation of a city ordinance would have any bit of a difference.

Legal to purchase a hangun at age 18 in Maryland?

+1. MD regulates hand guns and "assault" weapons. All of them have to have paperwork done through the state and MUST go through an FFL, hence no face-to-face in MD for those weapons. And as Kharn said MSP will reject a hand gun/assault weapon request for anyone under 21. I lived in MD up...

I have done it a bunch of times. It's a nice to live in a state where you can sell guns that way.

    BATFE and "Constructive Intent"

I would also say its a no no. Best not to temp the ATF. It really wouldn't surprise me if they arrested and tried someone for constructive possession of a shotgun and a hacksaw.....

the_fallguy: I'd like it within a few weeks. The wait time for most of the really nice ones is 28 weeks+.

Sig P239 Holster Recomendations (Need Something Soon)

Hey All, I need a fairly good but quick holster for a Sig P239. I know about all the great holsters, but I don't really want to wait 28 weeks right now. Who makes some reasonable holsters that I can have fairly soon?

    Concealed firearms and controlled substances?

+1 on the attorney. Read the text right next to where you sign. Almost all of the forms I have filled out like this say that you are swearing that the information is accurate under the penalty of perjury. They shouldn't deny your permit if you haven't broken any law.

    CWP in VA w/o registration...

novaDAK hit the nail on the head. I'd prefer to spend my money on more guns than on an attorney proving I didn't violate any laws.
