    CCW- nano, Shield, Kahr, LC9

I own a Shield, CW9, KelTec and Sig 938. I shoot them all relatively well, but feel that the Shield, CW9 and Sig 938 are just about equal for carry. The Sig is most expensive and a metal frame if you're into that. The Shield and CW9 are both great guns however, the trigger on the Shield is...

    $400 striker/9mm

I picked up a M&P shield in 9mm for $390. I've been very impressed with this little 9mm carry gun. Accurate, reliable, fun to shoot and easily concealable.

Narrowed my 9mm. to 5 choices hellp!

Of those listed, I like the CZ75. Now if I were to choose an all around good 9mm it would have to be the Glock 17/19.

    The New CT proposed Laws.

We knew it was going to happen, just a matter of time...so glad I got out of that state! Keep the faith! It will be challenged and likely some of it will be repealed, but the days of standard cap mags are likely gone forever...:cuss:

Which would you choose in a .40 Cal?

Glock 22/35 or M&P 40 would be my choice.

Wow...media telling us how dangerous "reloading" can be!!

Wow! That's all I shoot! I guess it's more dangerous than I thought! Just plain BS!

    New York FOI Exemption Form

Good luck up there. I would not trust any "exemption" coming from NY. I left the northeast (hopefully for good) last week and have not looked back. CT will be just as bad as NY soon. It might time to exit that area...

    M&P pro. Super gritty trigger

I just installed the Apex FSS kit in my M&P 9mm. No rounds through it yet, but the trigger has a much improved feel. No more grit, much reduced take up and over travel. It's worth the few extra dollars and 15mins to get it installed.

Who has flown with a handgun?

I have flown a lot with my firearms in recent months. I've had nothing, but good experiences with every aspect of the travel. Get a good lockable case is and buy the ammo at your destination. Airlines limit the number of rounds you can take and it's just easier to buy it once you arrive at...

    Moving question

What was the response? Just follow federal law and not stop? Yes, yes it is...I hold my breath traveling through NY until I get to PA and again through IL. Silliness, just plain silliness...

    Moving question

Our move is on the schedule for next week and have a couple specific questions for you guys who have recently moved. I have all my pistols in the original boxes and stored in a lockable tote. Do I need to have locks on all the pistol cases or is the tote local enough? Do my long guns need to...

    Fox News Sunday

Saw the video and now I'm a bit worried...we need a better spokesman and NOW! Wayne did ok, but just ok. Chris Wallace is actually doing us a favor by asking these questions and we should be trying to sharpen the answers. Wayne's answers need to be upgraded, unfortunately he sounds out of...

WH photo of Obama skeet shooting

My guess is it's a photo op or just backyard clays as he only has one choke in the gun, firing upper barrel most, not all, skeet shooters shoot bottom barrel first. I shoot a lot of skeet and the gun does not fit him at all. Given that mount, I'll bet it slapped the p***s out of his cheek. :D

A response to the Ruger letter (or why I love Kentucky)

Response from Joe Courtney Rep in CT Here's Joe's response. Not so pro-2A, but not as bad as I thought it would be.

    Flying with an expensive firearm

I've flown several times with my expensive (to me anyway) shotgun. The best advise is to get a high quality case. For a pistol, I would go with a good Pelican case as these are used for all sorts of sensitive equipment and are not easily ID'ed as a pistol.

    Gottlieb on Orielly right now

IMHO this is not good. It appears that we are head in sand. :(

    NRA Removes Facebook Page

I am a little concerned about this. I understand the silence however, pulling the page makes us seem ashamed of our rights. The debate on the site will happen no matter when the page is put back up. It's time to grieve, but also time to take on the anti-gunners that will come out the...

    What is an assult rifle?

As stated above, CT has an AWB in place. It lists several weapons by name and configurations. The definition of assault weapon however is very fluid. If it's black, has a pistol grip and shoots anything the media calls it an assault weapon. Technically based on the '94 Federal AWB there were...

    sig saur p250

I've had mine for over a year now and not had any issues with the pistol. My only complaint is I wish the trigger had a shorter reset or could worked on to reduce the reset. I clean mine with Hoppes #9. Works for my Glocks, M&P's, 1911's, etc.
