I just recieved a Hi-Point 9mm for free, and I don't know whether to shoot it or hammer nails with it. It is the ugliest, most ungainly, poorly made pistol I have ever seen! I swear it weighs 8 lbs! I am going to sell it for $80 and now I can't honestly say I've never owned a Hi-Point.:what:

Go with the Beretta. I have not been impressed with any Taurus. Also, the mags are not interchangable. I also like the safety on the slide with the Beretta.
The most likely reason that you can't hit anything with Wolf ammo is just that. Most Wolf ammo is military surplus from eastern Europe, and from what i've seen, their pistol ammo isn't the best quality.

I didn't ask the question to bash 1911's, but it seems to me that they are the most popular 45 out there, and i was just trying to get some insight as to why that is.
With so many different .45s out there today, such as Spingfield XDs, Glocks, Para Ordanance, Berettas, etc., why is the 1911 the most popular .45 out there. I think that the above mentioned companies offer superior designs when compared to the 1911.
