    Frankford Arsenal X-10

Keep us informed of how it goes! It looks like a nice press. I have been thinking of getting one vs another Dillion XL.

Anyone using the ProChrono Digital Bluetooth Adaptor?

Love mine! The wind blew my setup over once and the jack got messed up, sent it back and they fixed for free, great product and great company.

    swage vs ream 223?

I guess I have just gotten lazy over the years! I have bought dirty as is, clean, etc and done all the processing myself with SS tumbler and Dillion swagger. But now it just order cleaned, deprimmed, & swagged from http://brassbombers.com/223-556-Cleaned-Deprimed-Swaged-Lake-City_c48.htm for...

    Sticky gun powder?

A used dryer sheet in the hopper between uses will help with the static build up.

    223 Small Base Die-Great!

I use the same SB dies from RCBS for my AR-15 and AR-10 and love them. The LC brass is cheap and if I overwork it I am not concerned...

Any thoughts on these two trimmers?

I have two of the Giraud TriWay trimmers (223 and 308) and love them. I haven't tried anything else... He makes very nice tools, I just purchased his annealer also.

Good powder for MATCH GRADE .223 in the AR platform

Yes, I had not had any experience with it either, but the Nolser load data seemed to like it in some of the lighter bullet weights (http://www.nosler.com/nosler-load-data/223-remington/), so i took a chance on a 1 pounder, then order an large lot of it after my testing... I mainly use it in...

    digital calipers

I bought the Mitutoyo 500-197-30 Advanced Onsite Sensor (AOS) Absolute Scale Digital Caliper the other day from Amazon (not cheap), but have wanted for a while for more than just reloading. They seem to be much more consistent than a couple of cheap ones I have...

Good powder for MATCH GRADE .223 in the AR platform

I have had great results with Benchmark in 53 - 60 grain bullets and VV N140 in heavier bullets (68 - 77) out of a RRA 20" heavy barrel Varmint model with 1 in 8" twist. I haven't measured the groups per say, but I can cover up 5 shot groups with a dime pretty frequently at 100 yards.

    Is reloading really worth it?

Can I say no, it is just another addiction to tools for me!!! I just bought myself a Christmas gift of the Giraud Annealer and Giraud Power Trimmer, another major purchase that will not pay off for decades! But, I love the hobby and making the best ammunition I can... Woodworking was the same...

    Decisions, decisions..which Dillon again.

So far I have been doing the "One 650 for the handgun calibers and load the rifle on the single stages?". 650 for my pistol calibers and a T-7 for rifle. I am OCD about my rifle rounds and i like to use extruded powders, so I weigh each charge... One of these days I will get past that hangup...

    Newbie questions

Funny 30 or so years back all we had was the RCBS pad and tube lube (that I can remember) and i hated it! Messy as it was it worked... Lately I have been using the Imperial wax or the RCBS Case Slick Spray Lube 4 oz Pump and both seem to work well. The Dillon spray works well also, but seems...

    Accuracy of reduced .308 loads

I found an incredibly accurate low node the other day with N140 and 168 SMKs. It ran right around 2,000 or a little less. Luckily I found the higher node as the low node shot several inches lower and would have needed scope adjustment. It was right around the start load Sierra recommended if...

    Fed Ex Shipping Issues

I order from several online places and most seem to use UPS. Nice thing with USP is that you can signup for their "UPS Choice" (I think that is the name) and automatically get updated tracking information and sign online for packages with where to leave directions. It works for me in that i...

    223 COL and 69:(. Bullet

Yes, if you are looking for mag length the 69/77 SMKs as well as the Hornady 68/75 BTHPs will work (and Noslers). They are pretty much all I load for my RRA 1:8" twist.

Yes, sorry about that, I looked at the velocities you posted after hitting submit - my bad!

    10mm Inaccuracy. Help!

I know others probably have different experiences, but I never could get plated bullets to perform as well as jacketed in 10mm - specially when you start doing real 10mm velocities of 1200 - 1300 FPS. The same plated bullets do fine for me in 40 S&W.

    10mm Inaccuracy. Help!

Using AA #9, Longshot, 800X, and BE-86 in my Glock 20 with Hornady 180 grain HAPs and it is more accurate than I am. My favorite load is 13.0 grains of AA #9 behind a 180 HAP, nice tight groups, clean burning, and great velocity.
