Yeah I've sold them on there before. When I was trying to do it again last night it kept telling me though I had to set something up I'd never had to do before. Like I said I was tired -- might have clicked on the wrong thing somewhere.
Sorry if I posted this in the wrong place.
I was getting ready to put a couple things up for sale on Gunbroker and it's telling me I need to set up a payment gateway. Difficulty: Apparently you need to be a business with an FFL to do so. Is that correct? Can that little guy just trying to sell...
Agreed. And a particular scope might work with a particular rifle for a particular person's needs but we don't all use them for the same exact purpose so sometimes it's just not a good fit and there's no sense in buying something you aren't going to use.
I've got a few rifles I'm going to list...
Yeah I've had similar results. I might as well include the Vortex flip up caps as well as a little added incentive.
I'll have to decide if I want to package it with the rings or do those separately (or leave them with the gun)
Back when I did more buying and selling I'd pick up those ones that came with that "extra" equipment that people wouldn't pay extra for and resell without. I didn't make much, if anything off the guns but listing the extra goodies on ebay made it worthwhile.
Looking at the receipt for the scope, I think I'm maybe better off selling it on its own. Someone buying the rifle probably wants to do it up just how they want it anyway.
My big project last fall/winter was building up a nifty CZ 457. I got it done and it's been on a shelf ever since. I don't have the time (or a good place) to shoot these days.
I'm thinking about just putting it up for sale. Am I better off taking off the scope and mounts out or just selling it...
They get out with their grandpa now and then and they're decent at it. They're 12 and 14 now and have been shooting for a couple years so they've got the basics down. I could let them start with the CZ... I've got the single shot adapter in there at the moment.
Thanks fellas. I didn't think there was any need to use the good stuff! (Maybe I'll let them shoot couple mags of the match grade when I set up the paper targets.)
The nephews are coming over next weekend and I'd like to let them do a little shooting.
We'll probably set up a few paper targets and I've got some of those steel ones that flip around and reset. I don't need extreme precision Probably be shooting at about 20-40 yards.
I'm not real keen on...
I spent many years trying to find the perfect "do it all" .22.
The Henry lever action was about as close as I got but I realized I'm just too picky to have one gun to do it all.
I sat down and made a list of exactly what I do with my 22s and decided I'd be better off with a pair outfitted for...
Well it all worked out. Both the buyer and I were being dumb and pushing wrong buttons.
/also after shipping off his revolver a little while ago I sure do wish the guy who lived 10 minutes down the road would have won the auction -- oof those fedex shipping costs when you're not an ffl.
