Armi Galesi Mod 9 25 cal

There is a pin with a flange on the the Baby Browning and Bauer design. It serves as the cocked indicator. a small pin comes through a hole in the back of the frame. I don't think you need one, but if you have a hole you can buy that part.

What is the last gun that you bought?

I think I've been watching too much "Iguana Man" on Youtube. I just bought a .25 caliber air rifle that's supposed to get 900 fps out of a 28gr. pellet. It's a gun, right?

Have you purchased anything gun related in the last three days?

I bought a .25 cal air rifle that takes 3,000 PSI of pressure. Related, I bought the special compressor, a chrony (finally have one) and scope rings. And pellets.

Losing “Faith” in a handgun for EDC

The second time I found the safety on my IWB-holsterd Kimber, I sent it to the factory. Told them to stiffen up the safety detent. They said 'no' and sent it back. I sold it. I will lose faith in any gun that can easily and accidentally made unsafe.

    Calling all checkerers!

As a wood carver and "hobbyist" checkerer, I'd say that you have the right idea. Veiners are very apt and cut a clean channel when you pay attention to the sharpening and the wood's grain direction. The one thing I find I have to be careful about is cutting the width of the border. It takes a...

    32 Caliber Revolvers

Ah, Buckeye. You’re fortunate to have found that .327 Fed Mag LCR. I have owned the exact same model for a few years. I love it. I can poke holes all day long with .32 long wadcutters, plink with .32 H&R Mags, and carry .327 Fed Mags for protection. Yes, the .327s do crack loudly, but don’t...

    Kimber opinions

I had a Kimber .45. It was well made and functioned flawlessly, except - The thumb safety's detent felt weak to me. In fact, it took very little pressure to take off the safety (more than it took to engage it). After the second time I found it in my holster with the safety bumped off, I sent it...

Drawn to a certain bore size?

My favorite is .44. All centerfire iterations of it. I punch paper with .44 Russians, use a lot of .44 Spl in a few different loads, and shoot the Magnums when I need to relax.

    First time out w/629

I agree that the 629 is a great gun to shoot. And I recommend handloading if you can do it. And I also find the best load for me is what gotboostvr said.

B-Sharp, thank you for sharing this information. I have always appreciated THR for its members giving out wonderful info. A couple years ago I found a Youtube video by a guy who makes tapered cartridges for revolvers. Thanks again. THR rocks.
