Havent tried it yet but there is a reloading kit available for .22s at www.22Lrreloader.com. Interesting notion for those of us who are naturally curious, adventurous and like to follow the road less travelled.

Went to range and had no issues with the CCI ammo. All is well.

thank you both for your useful information and prompt responses. I may have one of those smaller bores. bullet diameter WRF measures .2265 that's bout .005 over my bore diameter . Kinda wish CCI had used slightly smaller diameter bullet.

I own a police positive target model chambered in .22 WRF, CCI sells a load in that chambering labeled not for use in revolvers, in small letters. On the website they mention that they have encountered revolvers with undersize bores and that is why the caution is on the box. Does anyone know...

I put a nice inexpensive Marbles Bullseye Rear sight on my 94. It is a rear aperture sight that mounts in the dovetail of the barrel where the original sight sits. It is so easy to shoot that rifle now. Brownells sells them for under $20.

The stock looked really hacked up with dents and scratches. One of the videos I watched fellow wrapped sanded stock in wet cloth and pressed it with an iron. Don't tell wife. That technique alone lifted all dents and really helped sanding out all the mars. It pulled some stains from lubricating...

Not an expert but watched a video on youtube last week by a fellow who browned a barrel and then put a cold blue on it. Looked fine and he claimed was quite durable..

Bought a rifle this week was wondering if anyone would know date of manufacture. Winchester model 94, 20 inch barrel, serial number is 48876xx . She cleaned up real purdy. I rubbed in some cold blue and refinished the stock with truoil.
