I wanted to add a little life to my factory black maverick stock so I decided to hydro dip it. I went with a camo stripe film with flat clear coat. It turned out better than I was expecting.
I picked up a used Stevens 200 that I'd like to cerakote. It has a red plastic safety insert behind the safety switch. Do you guys tape it and just aluminum oxide blast around it, pop it out or how do you do it? Will it melt? I will use 250 degrees for 2 hrs for the cure.

I have an Aimpoint CompML3 and I really like it. I wanted something that was 1x for CQB. I'm sure that the acog makes a great sight I just didn't want 4x on my carbine. If I was buying one for my 20" I would have probably picked acog.
Rhinoh, My 700 didn't like the 168 gmm ammo. I found out that my gun really likes the 175gr smk bullets. My hand loads will easily put 5 shots under 1" if I do my part. I would look at trying more factory ammo and/or throwing on a different scope.
