Never needing a BUG is a good thing. I don't know why you're talking it down.

    Backup Carry

I'm in Bryan, Ohio, population 9,000. There is only 1 laundromat and it's posted. While I have my own washer and dryer, I can imagine someone who can't go to a laundromat in Defiance due to low income, or disability, or some other thing. Such a person would have to face the decision to disarm...

    Backup Carry

I thought you said you had a problem braking someone else's rules in their land or store. Now it seems you only care if it's illegal.

    Backup Carry

I was thinking of when a customer complained but the owner otherwise didn't have a problem with you carrying. But you do bring food for thought: What if they're the only business of that kind you can get to? Or what if their competitors have 'no-gun' signs?

    Backup Carry

There's also the possibility that you could be asked to disarm by the property owner. Maybe you printed and someone complained, who knows. Carrying a BUG is a way to defuse the situation, by storing your main in your car, while remaining armed.

    Just ordered body armor. Overreacting?

You don't know you'll be facing a rifle round. You could be facing friendly fire from CCW citizens trying to fight back. You could be facing shrapnel such as broken windows or ricochet.

Or magazines if it's not a revolver ;)

    Just ordered body armor. Overreacting?

You may be interested in motorcycle armor in place of tacticool armor (as if you need another reason to buy a motorcycle :P). For example: Bulletblocker.com or Compacc.com Pros: > You look like a normal guy who rode his motorcycle to the grocery store, not a mall-ninja looking for attention. >...

Any relation to 'halfsail' the D&D player?

    Just ordered body armor. Overreacting?

Good to have while you're hunting. But for self-defense...are you going to wear it 24/7? Do you see yourself wearing it to work? Do you see yourself putting your armor on every day as you go to a store? If not, then yes, you wasted your money.

    Ruger LC9s Pro: Enough gun?

I'm sorry you think so. I keep trying to get back to the topic but posts like the one you just made here keep dragging the thread back down. Please feel free not to keep bringing up caliber. I'd much rather hear from OP if there are any special medical considerations that would affect how he...

    Ruger LC9s Pro: Enough gun?

"Terminal ballistics is the study of how a projectile behaves when it hits its target and transfers its kinetic energy to the target. The bullet's design, as well as its impact velocity, plays a huge role in how the energy is transferred." Google Hollow-point and magnum amunition have the best...
