    The Defensive Webley

And lots of Detroit cops (and other cops from other cities) were killed after shooting suspects (often several times) using 200 grain or 158 grain LRN 38 Special bullets. LRN or FMJ bullets CANNOT be relied upon to reliably stop lethal threats, period, end of story. To claim hollow point bullets...

    The Defensive Webley

Fuggittttabout ANY home defense round that is not a hollow point (preferably a good one), period, end of story. Never forget 'fun' is the first word in 'funeral'.

Which would you shoot? GP100 vs Trooper MK3

IMHO there is no difference in build quality between the GP line and the Blackhawks. I would rarely shoot the Colt due to their collector value and their fragility compared to the Ruger. I agree with the advice to dump the factory grips for Hogues.

    Sig versus ???

The sights, trigger and grip of my S&W Shield are all top notch. Not sure I agree with your basic premise. The only Sig I enjoy shooting is the P320 that my son owns.

CCI 500 vs. Fed 100 Small pistol primers

Remember Peters (Remington) or Western (Winchester) brand ammunition? They fell by the wayside due to duplicity in the marketplace. And market share, brand loyalty and name brand recognition are all secondary to profit. At one time Sears was a smart company. Then they were bought out by K-Mart...

    New Bullseye?

Paul: Here in the Pacific Northwest I would be happy to find ANY Alliant powder for reloading. I am not interested in premium gasoline if I can't buy regular.........

CCI 500 vs. Fed 100 Small pistol primers

Sorry, but it makes much more economic sense for a company to run one big assembly line instead of two smaller ones. And the market determines the value of a product. Seems ATK is already consolidating its pistol brass production. I'll bet primers won't be far behind.

    New Bullseye?

What does the EPA have to do with simplifying production?

    New Bullseye?

In my neck of the woods there is no such animal as powders going down in price, whether newfangled or oldfangled. And it would seem to me since Bullseye has been around since 1903 (I believe) they should have been able to simplify the manufacturing process long ago.

CCI 500 vs. Fed 100 Small pistol primers

It would seem to me ATK would simplify matters and thus save money by consolidating the production line for both Federal and CCI primers. I have noticed both Federal and Blazer/CCI pistol brass seems identical except for the headstamp.

CCI 500 vs. Fed 100 Small pistol primers

Since both Federal and CCI are now owned by the same company is there any difference between the two brands of primers or do they both come off of the same production line?

    New Bullseye?

Hopefully not another 'new and improved' Madison Avenue scam where basically the same old stuff is sold for more ca$h from the consumer. Whatever happened to 'old and unchanged'?

    Another vote for rubbing alcohol.

    New Bullseye?

I thought Accurate Arms #5 was the new Unique. I would vote Accurate Arms #2 as the new Bullseye.

Take a look at the offerings by A.E. Nelson Leather out of Scio, OR. Excellent quality at reasonable prices.

    Middle age guys and Holsters

Here in the Pacific Northwest it rarely is hot and never is humid (two qualities that I can't live without). Anyhow, I carry my 9mm S&W Shield in a A.E. Nelson IWB leather holster made in Scio, OR along with a couple of nylon magazine pouches I picked up at a gun show. Works for me as an old toot.

    Pacific shot shell reloading press

Depends upon the model. Hornady should have plenty of parts available for the 366. You will probably have to search e-bay for 105 parts. Good luck!

Help deciding on a concealed carry gun.

First rule of gunfighting: have a gun. Second rule: carry one you can hit with. A mousegun does you no good if you can't hit the broad side of a barn with same. By the way, your wardrobe choice is secondary to carrying concealed (first things first). My choice: S&W Shield (sans safety) in 9mm...

    HK P7-Wow!

I did not say I could not provide an occurrence; I said talk to Massad Ayoob; he will fill you in on the details. And I did not put into question the credibility (not 'creditably') of anyone. And I also did not claim a 'rash' of shootings (define 'rash'). And longevity of issue police equipment...
