My wifes friend has a Ruger P97DC NIB plus a 1000 rounds of Cabelas bulk ammo, he wants $350 for all of it. What do you think? I have never even held a Ruger pistol but figure it may be worth looking at. Anybody have experience with them?

My wife has purchased a gift certificate for me at a local range but my choices are limited. I really like the look and feel of this shottie. You cant go wrong with an 870 either though. This will be primarily for HD and some fun.

Its getting warm and I like to ride my bike to the range. I need something that will hold a pistol, few boxes of ammo, eyes, ears...etc. Any suggestions? I would prefer its not too large and would rather go with a slingpack if I can find the right one.

Just picked up my first revolver, a SP101. Not real sure what to feed her as far as practice and self defense ammo. Please give some opinions and recommendations. Ammo is too expensive these days to try everything out there.
