So buddy of mine was going thru his in laws basement to package the house up for sale and found a bandolier of old military garand ammo. Took it from him and looked over the rounds, no splits or green residue leakage. The primers show some degradation in the cup area. Headstamped WT 52. So...
So back in March I ordered some bullets from RMR. Jake then posted on FB and in his newsletter that he was short handed and up against a wall so things were taking longer then expected. I commented on the FB post to take care of his crew and him first and the order gets filled when it gets...
So I just got a new powder drop setup. First thing I noticed was that the powder hopper is frosted. Don’t have any rifle rounds to load..cause well the whole stupid virus has had everything shut down.
Anyone know if they frosted it to keep powder from sticking to the hopper walls? 1st pic is...
I want to add a secondary LNL case activated powder measure for rifle (223). Been switching the rotor, just a PIA. However after searching around I can only find parts, i.e. buy lower linkage parts and then buy powder measure. Any one have experience buying a full case activated P/M setup...
Well here's hoping, but not placing any wagers on it (wonder if there is a Vegas line?)
Already drove Magpul out of here and down to Texas.

Promised I would do it and got it done finally! Retired my Sig P220 from 20 years of service several years ago and had to get something a little lighter. But 20 years left alot of holster wear plus a botched bluing job by someone who said they were qualified, she needed a little love. So...
I have noticed as of late that it seems to be common practice to create a shipping label (UPS, USPS FED EX) for an item but it does not ship until 2 or 3 days later (testing that time limit up to 4 days with ammo I ordered before I send email)
Not in the business of retail or any kind of...
I didn't want to hijack someone elses thread. My question is does anyone have one and pros/cons?
Looking at buying one for a plinker and to start the kids on some handgun training.
Thanks for any info
On the hunt for some 30-06 cases, ran across this site, https://sagesreloadingsupply.com/index.php?route=common/home
was wondering if anyone has ever heard or dealt with them?
Usually can get some through https://rangebrass.us but they have been out for awhile
Soooo, more geared to people learning to reload but maybe for someone whose never bought pulled bullets either, here goes.
I have always used a particular brand of bullet(s) so that was what my seating dies were set for, never ventured really from those bullets.
Got some great deals on pulled...
Anyone had any chance to try this powder for the M1? They do have load info for it, but was wondering if there had been any experience with it or am I going to be the guinea pig in a few months when I order from Powder Valley?
Here's load info:

So want to build an A2, carry handle and all. However I would like to be able to throw in a conversion kit to 22 so the kids can have some fun.
Question: For those who have used the conversion kit, did you get a separate barrel for it or is using the same barrel ok?
Thanks.
To start: Garand 30-06, Hornady load data. Loaded H4895 and H335.
For H335 41.6-42.8 gr
I was getting flash from the lower range of the test rounds until I got to the 42.6 and almost no flash at the 42.8.
So my question, is what causes the flash at the lower powder level but causes it to...
Have been waiting for my delivery from CMP for a couple of months and it finally came! Springfield July of 45 M1, I so wanted something from WW2 time frame! Been chomping at the bit to get into a project and started gathering supplies to reload for it...CANNOT WAIT TO SHOOT IT!
Sorry for the...
Loading 30-06 for M1 Garand, still waiting for rifle from CMP. I am using PUBLISHED Hornady data for the Garand, 9th edition. 150gr fmjbt (Everglades) with cannelure. Following case trim and OAL.
I am using military brass and two powders for testing, H4895 and H335.
For those that have loaded...
Are there any tell tale signs that military 30-06 brass, has been used in a machine gun? Heard that the “ generous” barrels can blow out the brass making it tough to resize.
Starting to reload for Garand.
Saw this by Hodgdon...
