It's always bothered me to see fine old firearm company names on crap Chinese knives. When I go by the TSA outlet half the S&W knives in the bins are visibly falling apart. FWIW I finally took my FEG to a gunsmith and he sanded a bit off the frame- said it was too soft and was peening a bit when the slide came back. Not real thrilled but for $150 it's hard to complain.

One major advantage of the Buck 290 Rush over the Leek (IMHO of course) is that the safety is in the same place as the blade extension/trigger so you can release it and open the knife without moving the knife around in your hand.
