Lee Six Pack Pro New Design Case Feeder

I was setting up for 32 ACP using new Starline brass (please stop laughing) and my brass was dropping on its own. Starline brass rims are perhaps smaller than some brass. Designer made a new lever design that I printed and even 32 ACP drops perfectly. Missed the running thread on this already.

Lee Six Pack Pro New Design Case Feeder

I found this on youtube and bought the 3D printer files and I can say that it is a great improvement over the Lee unit. You can buy the complete printed kit or the 3D printer files from the designer. He is very responsive and made a slight improvement after I contacted him. I am not affiliated...

Alright, I think I am ready to try out a progressive press

I pretty much just load pistol and if you use the Lee 4 die sets you need a minimum of 5 stations to use a powder check die (I use RCBS lockout die). This add a light and look down the case is a pain in the neck and not for me. I see people even add cameras. Too easy to mess up. 6 stations on...

38 special and 357 mag brass. Getting stuck on expander. Lee dies.

Can you post a picture of the expander so I can see if it looks as bad as the picture I posted? I don't think the cure for this is lubrication, I think the cure is replacement of the expander. Consider that if mine came out machined so poorly yours may be well out of tolerance too and needs...

38 special and 357 mag brass. Getting stuck on expander. Lee dies.

I had the same problem, took the die apart and found that there were machine marks on the expander plug. Lee is sending a new one. Their customer service is good, better than their quality control. Hope this helps. I noted this when I opened other dies and noted how smooth the expander plug was.

    Lee 6000 press

One pin and one spring. Not sure how to tell if you need to change them just by looking.

    Lee 6000 press

The original primer pin would stick in the up position and lock up the press. New pin is supposed to prevent that. My press locked up even before I actually started reloading. I was just cycling the press.

    Lee 6000 press

Paid $240 for my no dies set at Midsouth. Have all my dies. I am pretty happy with mine and Lee is doing a good job supporting it. I go fairly slow, haven't loaded with the new primer pin yet but did load a bunch of .38 special with old primer pin. I do use a RCBS lockout die which really works...

    Lee 6000 press

Installed new primer pin and spring today thanks to the excellent advice of our members. Did not take the press apart as I was very careful removing the top plate and screw holding the bottom plate. You do need 2+ hands and did not loose the ball or springs. Thank you all for your help.

    Lee 6000 press

I reported earlier about the primer pin getting stuck up and locking up the press. Lee is sending me the new "updated" pin and spring and they have steered me to a video about disassembly which may be more complicated than need be but is needed to replace the bottom cover. Can the pin and new...

    Lee 6000 press

Here is my experience so far and all I have done is set up a bare press, not a kit. Bought shell plate for 38 special, mounted with lee plate to where I previously had a classic turret. Mine came with small primer holder installed and the lee fix for the primer slider installed and had the .430...

    Lee 6000 press

Saw a youtube unboxing and was surprised that instead of sending a 4 die set he got the cheaper 3 die set. Not cool.

quick review-new lee auto drum powder measure

I have a Frankford Arsenal DS-750. I pulled out my Lee balance scale and weighed a spent 209 primer (12.3 gr.) That's exactly what I got when weighing it with my Frankford. That scale is just fantastic. Happy with my LAD and will load some 45ACP tomorrow.

quick review-new lee auto drum powder measure

Put the LAD on the turret press with 700x powder, didn't actually load anything but measured powder drop using an electronic scale. Aimed for 3.6 gr. 700x. Did a bunch of throws to get the powder moving around before I started measurements. Did 30 measured throws. 3.8 3.7 3.5 3.6 3.9 3.6...

quick review-new lee auto drum powder measure

I bought one of these right after they came out but I have to admit, I have not used it yet. I have a Lee turret press but mainly have been doing MEC shotgun reloading. I reviewed the entire thread and although I have not used it yet and mine was a very early production I found the following...
