I'd vote for a Ruger LCR in 22-magnum or 22 lr... easy to manage...my girlfriend panic shoots at silhouette targets with her 8 shot LCR 22lr and gets head and heart shots 90% of the time. We go in the backyard after dark and shoot, cause if we did it in the house,I'm not a drywall repair...
What state are you in? I see the Cleveland Indians is your picture....if your in Ohio it was 17 degree high temperature today in the n.e. part and more power to ya if you braved that kinda weather!
I'm with you Kaldor my will to keep mine running is just about time for a 750....I've been fighting mine since 2008...packed it away for a year but keep giving it another chance.....lots of calls and parts from hornady and the gremlins still find their way to ruin a loading session....was using...
My friend has the x9 EDC great pistol,...but,...the price overwhelms me....I'm rough on my daily carry and range weapons and I'd be sick to spend that kinda money and scratch it or make it a safe only pistol......I like shooting what I own....for the Wilson price I can buy a couple other brands...
I love my sig 1911's ,fastback nightmare carry, we the people, ultra compact, STX full size...external extractor is fine unless your a diehard 1911 fan,.....I see Wilson Combat has gone to external extractors on some of their EDC pistols
My mind says go...body says no...64...kinda forced to retire due to cancer issues...but i keep on trucking.....i think my hornady lnl ap press puts me in overload when the gremlins attack it.....so it sits collecting dust...easier than stressing out
I have learned one thing for sure that after retireing.......I own way to much stuff!!! I musta thought while I was working that I needed all I could get....now I have the time I don't have the time for everything I own.....I still get to the woods to bowhunt and enjoy sitting in my tree stand...
Love that reply ms6852! Great responses on this subject, can't be a pussy getting old, some have better health than others , I guess that's just life in general and man life is short......oh well live it to the fullest! Some say dont sell your stuff I really didn't plan on that quite yet 2 dillon...
It's hard to find kids with interests like we seniors have and had! Hell I was at my g/f sisters for Christmas and their neighbors came over and were talking about their son not being able to pass the Air Force physical training test......I about choked......holy f%*×& I said, I was in the...
I have lost interest in my reloading activities, anyone else done this? I don't know if it's cause I'm getting older (64) or I just dont shoot as much as I once did or , I had a cancer tumor removed in Sept. 2018 esophageal they removed 3/4 of my stomach and esophagus,...but I still get out and...
will hornadys case feeder work on an inline fabrication quick change top plate? wondering if theres enough room for the bracket that's holds finished rounds and the case feeder arm...thanks
Ok Hornady sent me some updated items......question is I have to replace a broken pawl,so I'm replacing both, what is a good starting point....is there a measurement to go by to start with or is it just a keep making small adjustments till its right
but wouldn't it be helpful to have the newer style case feed funnel if you go from 9mm to 308...to be able to change the drop tube a little easier...instead of picking up the collater to change the tube?
I have the old style case feed funnel..can the old one be changed to the new style? I'm really not trying to be a pain in the ass...just have way to much invested in this press to let it sit and collect dust....I have spare time on my hands for a couple months before I have to go back to work...
