I'm getting my first rifle this week, a Sako 75 in .308. I know some rifles like certain ammo. How many kinds should I try? Is 5 a good number to start? Any suggestions as to the types I should try would be appreciated. I plan on using 150 gr. bullets for whitetail hunting.

I started shooting trap and shotguns in general recently and the guys at the club are pretty helpful but it's limited as to how much they can teach in that environment. I hooked up with a guy to take a few private lessons. I think this is really going to help. I'll let you know how it turns out.
