Definitely. I enjoy shooting with the iron sights, and frequently leave the optic at home. Always good to have a backup for the optic.

I can vouch for my 550 in 243 cal. It is the most reliable rifle I own. I only wish CZ would make Picatinny rails an option.

As a compromise, you might consider an illuminated low power scope such as a Meopta 1-4 K dot, or the Leupold Prismatic 1x. Low light performance may be very important, more so than split second target acquisition.

My third Kahr and my first polymer one, and I am very pleased. Just shot about 250 rounds this weekend without problem, very easy to point, soft shooting, and accurate. I couldn't be more pleased. I will report back after 1000 rounds.

The bobtail has to be pretty abbreviated, so its effect is not as pronounced as in a full sized grip. This one was done by Robbie Seamons of LoneStar Wholesale in Texas. He did one for me, too. I like it.
