I purchased what I believe is some South African 5.56x45 and 7.62x39 today. My first question is are they corrosive? The 2nd question is some boxes of the 5.56 say M1A3 and some say M1A4. What is the difference? Thank you for any help you can provide.
Hello everyone, My question is if you have a shot out barrel and you have it sleaved. Does it affect the collectability or value on a milsurp rifle. The rifle I'm thinking of doing it to is a Lee Enfield .303.
Can someone tell and show me the difference between the J and X type shell holders on a Lyman press? Ive looked on the net and cant seem to find anything. Thanks
Hello, I bought this Lyman press a few months ago and just got it set up. I can't get the shell plate off the press. My Lee single stage popped right out. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong? Thanks
I went to a local store today and seen a steel 30 round AR15 mag that said it was a Colt. Did Colt make a 30 round steel magazine? If so were they reliable? If they were Im going back to get them. Thank
Hello Everyone! I have a Mosin and at the end of the barrel just past the front site there is a very slight buldge. Its about 1/2 inch long and it goes back to normal about 1/4 to a 1/2 inch from the end of the barrel. What could cause this and do you think its safe to shoot? The rifle hasnt...
I had 2 of these in the past and sold them. It took me forever to find these again. I just found them at the Knob Creek machine gun shoot yesterday. They weren't in a package and the guy didnt know who made them. Anybody?
I found one called the VooDoo Jet compensator and it looks like it works in the video. Its around $80 and I'm cheap. lol Are there compensators out there cheaper that work as good as that one? I'm upgrading my AR slowly and right now I'm looking to lighten the recoil.
Ok I am completely ignorant on this subject. I seen a Romanian AK74 at a local shop. It said it was rare and they were asking $1000 for it. I seen some on the internet that were made from kits. My questions are as follows. Are all the Romanian AK74's for sale here made from kits? If not how can...
Has anyone ever sold or traded a firearm to Cabelas? Were they fair on the price they gave you. I was thinking about maybe trading one in on another or maybe a store credit. If they do the store credit thing.
Ok, so I bought this Browning Buckmark in a plastic baggie in pieces. I was told it was jamming and they didn't want to mess with it after they took it all apart. I took it to a local gunsmith and he said all the springs were wore out. He put it back together and now it is fine. The whole length...
I'm looking for an inside the waist band holster for a CZ75 p01 compact. It has the factory Green poly coating finish. I want a holster thats not going to wear or scratch the finish. Any ideas on one? Thanks
I bought a bunch of gun socks for a couple dollars a piece used. I ask why he was selling them and he said his guns were rusting in them? I've never heard that claim before about them . Anyway when I got home and looked at them. They look like they may have been washed. I know some of them are...
I was checking a local pawn shop today as I do every so often. I came across an unusual Ruger target pistol. The guy told me it was produced sometime in the 40's. I couldnt find a model number on it. The heavy barrel is unlike anything I have seen on Ruger 22 target pistol. Does anyone know...
I go to a laid back amateur competion and use my Ruger GP100. The amount of rounds sometimes changes depending on their setup for each match. I have to carry 75 rounds for this up coming event. Sometimes you have to walk on a wooded trail. So throwing my speed loaders on the ground is not an...
Ive owned a Cannon safe for over 10 years now and love it. It has a dial, not the electrical key pad. I prefer the dial over the key pad. I know people like the ease of the key pad but I just dont like it. Its easier for anything electrical to fail than something mechanical. I guess I'm just old...
I just purchased A Romanian sks and was wondering about the prefix. The prefix it has is "GM" . The only thing I have been able to find is that "GM" is one of the prefix's they used in 1959. Does anyone know if it indicates anything else about the rifle? Thanks
