A lot of new decapping dies on the marketplace, with the Lee universal being the cheapest. Is there any advantages to owning the more expensive brands? Thanks for your input,
I contacted Forster tech today and inquired about a negative effect on the warranty if I install the curved linkage arms and the Mike Manzella jaw holder. They informed me that they will effect parts of the press to be under warranty coverage.
I received a Cabelas flyer yesterday advertising this rifle with factory blueprinted barrel. I don't think it looks as nice as the Ruger precision . Both available in the 6.5 creedmore but will be a while before I'll be able to look at one. Any body else see the gun?
Have any members grounded their beam scales? Some members noted static can be a issue with scales. I'm thinking of grounding my beam scales by way of my electric outlet wiring at my bench. I would mount a grounding bar on the bench to ground two scales. What are your thoughts? Thank you for your...
Thank you 243winxb for your information, I'm going to work on it tomorrow. I also have two rcbs 5-10 scales that should arrive next week. Getting very close to being able to start reloading.
This is a scale I received today, looks mint and never used. When I built my reloading bench I made it perfectly level. The scale zeroed is about 1/4 inch out of level but the check wts all read correct. I read somewhere that to get it to read correctly when level that you add lead shot in the...
Today in a box of reloading equipment I purchased was a stainless steel ohaus powder trickler # 7150 in its original box and never used. The only thing I can find about it is it's supposed to be very rare. Any members familiar with this powder trickler? Thank you for your consideration.
This week I purchased two rcbs 5-10 scales and one ohaus scale .Im new to rifle reloading and had to purchase scale to get the other stuff I wanted with the exception of the first one. Once I make sure they work perfectly one or two will be for sale. The first to arrive tomorrow. The reason I...
If I had 100 plus guns as in reply 34, I would hire a security firm to guard my weapons when I was gone. It may bring down your insurance costs. Just an idea.
If your going on a guided hunt, some outfitters will not allow the 30-06 . They spent too many waisted hours looking for animals never retrieved. Can't speak to your state for I have never hunted it. Some may limit your shot distance . Too many better cal. and recoil systems to limit yourself to...
Guns can be dismantled, different parts to friends and family. No one will steal a gun that can't function. No one that lives in my area would ever consider your facility. Again the pandora's box that you would open would negate what little good at first. This concept should be scrapped and...
This thread has really caught my attention, I'm thinking that this gun in 6.5 creedmore will be my next rifle. I've been thinking of this cal. for a long time but in a hunting rifle. Our hunt club is 13500 acres but the longest range that we have is only 300 yards , but I could shoot 1000 yards...
