6.5 Carcano loads with PPU bullets

Galil, It's not alot, but if I find nothing else, at least it gives me a starting place to (veeeery carefully) test some loads. Thanks!

6.5 Carcano loads with PPU bullets

Has anyone loaded with Privi's .268 123gr or 139 gr? I'm hitting a brick wall looking for load data. All I'm seeing is data for the Hornady stuff. To be fair, that's what I used to load too, but I'm out, and wasn't getting the best out of them anyway. Thanks in advance, Rick

Which of YOur Handguns Almost Always Make it it the Range?

Everytime: Beretta 84BB in .380. Everything else is down to the weather, since my local range has a very nice shooting station setup. Cloudy, rainy? Rifles. Warm and sunny? Pistols and shotguns.

    Long-barrelled .45/.410 single shot pistols?

Had the chance to shoot a Contender G2 recently, and man, now I want to get one.. seriously though, we were shooting simple target .45lc ammo, and it was a blast. My freind is also a leatherworker, so he made up a bandieler that snapped onto his belt, .410 on the left and long colt on the right...

    To Blue, or Cerakote?

The pistol is one I shoot quite often, to be honest. It's the gun I use in my boat, wheeler, and sometimes bike(just because it fits in the storage of all of them). But I also take a lot of pride in my small firearms collection, and keeping them in good shape. Especially considering I have yet...

    To Blue, or Cerakote?

Bannockburn - thank you for your in depth reply. I'll weigh what you've said, and consider my options. I'm really only looking to do the barrel, and want to preserve the finish on the rest of the gun.

    To Blue, or Cerakote?

Hello all, I have a bit of a question. I have a beautiful Beretta 84bb, and I love the gun to death. Unfortunately, a previous owner somewhere along the line either didn't, or just didn't understand cleaning and maintenance of a firearm. When it came to me, I had to do a bit of work. New grips...

    7.62x25 Tokarev

I have also shot both, and would say just the same thing hah. In my case my CZ shoots much better, and to boot feels nicer in my hands. Just my 2 cents. I have to say, I've never gotten the whole dry firing thing. Snap caps/dummy rounds are ridiculously cheap, and have more than just one use...

    Mag buttplates

Thanks sir. I knew about the semi-leverage use of mag plates, but luckily I have the way overpriced tool sold by Harrington for both taking down the gun, and releasing the handle scale clips. 10 bucks and 5 s/h, for a tiny metal rod with two different diameter circles machined on the ends :p...

    Mag buttplates

So, I'm a young guy. Not new to shooting, but new to some of the more esoteric stuff. Even done a little bit of handloading. And yet, I still don't really know why so many people look for buttplates to old mags. One of my first pistols was a CZ52, and one of the old timers in my spirtsman club...
