I have a Mossberg MVP .556 It's a bolt action with a 24" barrel 1:9 twist. Someone told me that .223 is manufactured to tighter specifactions than .556 Is that hog wash ? I will be shooting at 100 to 300 yards max targets only. Also, what weight bullets do you recommend? Thanks, Jim

I just talked to technical support and they suggested I send the gun back for them to look at it so tomorrow it goes back. I read a lot of great reviews about the FNX and how it would eat any ammunition thrown at it so I was quite surprised to have issues

There is only one review on the site and he claims that these feed better than other flat point bullets in his 1911's because the edges are more rounded

Hi Dudedog, I'm on the Rocky Mountain Reloading site but can't find any RMR 147 Target HP . I only see 147 Gr. RMR Hardcore Match Round Nose or 9mm 147 Grain TCFP Rocky Mountain ThunderCast Is it one of these?

I also tested the following and liked them all Rainer 9mm 147g Copper Plated HP , 4.3g BE-86, WSP primer, and OAL 1.100 Berry's 9mm 124g Copper Plated FP, 231 powder @ 4.0, OAL 1.100 Thanks for all the suggestions.

To 9mmepiphany -- I tried your recommendation using a Berrys 9mm copper plated 124g FP, 4.7 BE-86, only had Winchester SPP, 1.111 OAL it was perfect - fairly soft and accutate, Thanks
