Velocity at maximum listed load of 7.0 grains is 1234 fps which is in the neighborhood of what I am experiencing. I did see some flattening in the primers but no other signs of over pressure. I hope I'm on track because I loaded 500 rounds with this recipe! Got another thousand rounds of...

Okay, back to the Junkyard. With the help of some good folks on this board I was able to locate some IMR 8208 which I have used in the past behind 168 grain SMKs with good luck. I have some Hornady 150 SP Interlocks, some CCI #200 primers, and some new Lake City brass. I'm having trouble...

Very cool. I lived in Abaco for ten years and had an offshore charter fishing business based out of Boat Harbour Marina. We shot a lot of fish and sea roaches in our spare time; dove up plenty of conch as well.

Thanks Telum, I wish I had seen this earlier as I was a bit apprehensive. All of my SD weapons run factory springs so GTG. "Telum Pisces", would make a great name for a sportfishing boat!

Thanks Hammer, the only signs I observed was the primers looked a little flattened but the cases looked fine. Really like my new ProChrono DLX and the phone app.

Good advice, I'll drag out my old dijareedoo and after a few practice puffs I will project my interrogative tune....or maybe I'll just call them.;)

Thanks Bersa, do you like the Everglades 115 JHPs? They look good and seem to be consistent.

I concur and what I meant was that I don't want to be lobbing softballs when terminal ballistics are important. These rounds will likely be running through a S&W M&P 2.0 or a SIG P365XL. Probably not through my Glocks.

Have you had good luck ordering directly from Hodgdon's site? I would really like to score some 8208 XBR in addition some 9MM powder.

Thanks AJ, I'm going to tread lightly until I can see what is going on. These particular rounds will likely be running through an M&P 2.0 with a 4.6" barrel.

I had not heard that and I wonder what effect that has when rapid firing through multiple mags? Has anyone ever had a cookoff in a 9MM semi? :what: It does meter well.

I guess by "Hot" I was referring to the fact that it is fast burning and very sensitive to small variations in the charge. Not much room for error. I hope my Lyman 55 is up to the task, I check every other drop for accuracy.
