    Hornady's Sub-X 190 gr. Bullet

I just got back from 2 weeks of travel so no new news. Work really screws up my fun time. All the latest videos are on my youtube channel. I did manage just yesterday to change to the Wilson Combat barrel I have so next set of tests will be with the new barrel to see what we see!

    Hand priming?

I use the RCBS bench priming system, I have tried the Lee (works sometimes not so good other times) The RCBS bench mount works really well for me. I decap and then wet tumble to get my primer pockets nice and clean. I do this for rifle only for pistol I prime on the Dillon 750

    Dillon 750

I just got a 750 a few weeks back first problem I had is the primer system. It was not fully seating primers. They sent me a new ram I installed it but havent used it yet. I switched from a hornady LNL where the priming system was horrendous. Machine seems to be made much better but still not...

    Case trimmer recommendations

For match grade cartridges, I would recommend something that indexes off the base not the shoulder, the micrometer makes it very easy to get a very precise trim. The downside is its manual and takes more time. Here is my LE Wilson

    Hornady's Sub-X 190 gr. Bullet

I have been testing these now. Initially ordered two boxes from midway USA after shooting 3 boxes of factory loaded ammo and I have 300 more projectiles arriving tomorrow. So far they are way better than the Lehigh defense 194gr maximum expansion which are over $1.20 per projectile. Here are my...

    Questions on Savage 110

All of my testing has been done with 168gr bullets. I have tested Hornday BTHP Match, ELD-M, Berger VLD, Sierra SMK and now Sierra TMK. I have tested CFE 223, AR-COMP, Varget, IMR 8208-XBR and Benchmark. If you look at my youtube there is a .308 win load development playlist that has capture...

Trigger recommendations for AR15 preferably 2 stage

Hi Folks, In my good AR's I run Giessele SSA-E 2 stage triggers however these are quite pricey and I would prefer a cassette style trigger to its easier to move in between rifles. Anyone have a recommendation for other triggers I should evaluate? Thanks, Dom

    Crimp .223

Like much of the info above. I only crimp with bullets that have a cannelure. I never flare the neck either (what is the point of doing this) If you have a sizing die that sets the proper neck tension it shouldnt be needed. I do prefer the Lee factory crimp dies over a taper crimp die. If your...

    Turret Press Question

I have a redding T-7 Turret press and I love it. Its quite pricey but it works well. The only time I use it for more than one stage is seating and crimping. This is usually for .300 blackout! otherwise its one stage at a time.

    SBR vs. AR Pistol

That would really suck if they do. How difficult is the process for SBR? I just got my suporessor which silencer shop made easy from an application perspective and I only had to wait 4 months. which isnt as bad as I suspected. Do i need to get the lower engraved as well?

    SBR vs. AR Pistol

Folks, Quick question. i have a 300 blackout AR setup with a SB tactical pistol brace since I dont have a stamp for an SBR. I know you cannot put a vertical foregrip on this as this would classify it as an SBR but can I put a bipod on the front of it? Thanks, Dom

What is the one gadget no reloading room should be without?

I would have to agree with this in general, lighting, lighting and more lighting. I am in a new house as of the start of April and when I had it built knowing my reloading bench would be in the garage I had the builder install 6 extra 4' LED lights above my bench and I put under cabinet LED...

    wet tumbling ?

I use dawn all the time, Dawn has a degreaser in it, I also use a little bit of lemishine with it as well. GBExpat is correct though since the degreaser strips everything off of the case if you leave it sitting out it will tarnish and lose its shine a bit!

Dangerous accidental overload. Mosin is strong action.

How dare your wife disturb you in the middle of a reloading session ;)

What Tool Do You Use for Priming?

I have been using the RCBS bench priming tool exclusively. I tried the lee bench priming tool and it sucked. I just put my LNL AP back together and I am going to give it another shot at priming pistol cases and see how it does. Historically it has not been very good.

Best Piece of Reloading Equipment that stepped up your reloading precision

YES YES YES! Micrometer seating dies rock! No guessing! raise it up seat your bullet measure and you know exactly how much to turn it down! I wont buy a seating die without a Micrometer any more. Hornady (at least the one I have is hard to read) Redding is better but pricey, I found the Forster...
