Don't like semi-auto rounds in revolvers. JMO. To many nice semi-autos out there to use a wheel gun.

All my lead bullets 44 and up have gc's never had to clean lead out of those guns' barrels. I like them just fine.

I have a Henry Big Boy. Brass receiver and octagon barrel in 44magnum or special and I consider it my best rifle. Most accurate and a load of fun to shoot. Plus, I have other 44 pistols in my collection. Ammo or all.

For Years I carried a Marlin Model 336 in 35 Rem. in open fields and woods in the NE. Aways had a sling. Don't really remember much about the sling.They were leather back then. Couldn't buy anything else. I do remember it was comfy to carry over my shoulder. Of course, I was much younger back then.

I'm getting a EC9s real soon. Anyone have an opinion on this pistol? I don' own a 9 mm. Never have owned a 9mm. Are they easy shooting?

I use IMR4064 or Varget with 150gr. Hornady Jacketed bullets. Don't know how hard it is to find either. I haven't had to buy any powder in a long time. 30-06 is the only rifle I own, and it will probably the only rifle I ever own. Got my eye on a 45-70 though.

30-06 ammo is available just about anywhere including hardware stores. .308 pretty available .30-30 is also. Some of the others not so. Unless you are a hand loader some you can't find at all. That's been my experience.

XTP's are all I have other than plated bullets. For burning up range time . I shoot 38.caliber & 44cal. in pistol mostly and I am very happy with them. I even tried Nosler 30 cal. bullet's in a rife and switched to Hornady and accuracy picked up.

IMO. If you hunt or do pest control with it, it's a tool. If it is a defensive firearm then it's a tool. If you bought it because you thought you might like it then it' not a tool it's a collector's item.
