Does anyone know if ALL 12 rd steel Galil mags are for firing blanks only?
I've seen them for sale on a couple of different websites...some specify blanks only, and others do not, indicating that they are for standard ammunition.
Has anyone else noticed that .380 ammo appears to be the best priced cartridge?
I remember not too long ago that 9mm was the best deal, but that doesn't seem to be true currently. Weird.
I had a 1911 with some rust on the beavertail which I had refinished with Birdsong's black-t. I expected the rust to be buffed off before refinishing, but instead it apears they simply did their usual process and refinished over the rust.
I had a similar experience with rust on a S&W M60...
I would like to get a .410 coach shotgun (sxs) and cut of the stock to make a pistol grip and cut down the barrel to resemble a howdah pistol.
Are .410 shotguns rifled? And if so, would I still have to pay a $200 tax stamp to do this? I know there are 45 Colt/.410 revovlers and derringers...
It seems as though I have come across information online at some point that indicated Colt had used Uberti's manufacturing for their later generation SAA's (while Colt would fit/finish/assemble and stamp the pony on them).
For anyone who knows for sure: Did Uberti ever, or do they currently...
Check out this pic... it's a few down.

I wonder if this is for display only, or if they will really offer clear frames. That would be very cool.
I posted this in the main forum got no reply...maybe you smithers can help.
Is there any legitimate concern with replacing a "duracoat" type finish with one that may be thinner? Any fit/function issues likely to arise? Or, since it wears on all the contact parts anyways, is it a moot point...

Specifically, I am considering replacing a factory "parakote" (which seems a...
I was given an Eig-Eibar 12mm black powder pistol. From what I understand it is a cheap, 1960s-ish black powder pistol. Is anyone familiar with this gun?
Also, it's missing a hammer screw and I was hoping someone might know where I could find a replacement.
Does anyone know the total effects that the above product has on the safety of the CZ52? I'm specifically interested to know if the firing pin safety becomes completely useless, or if it still provides some safety enhancement during certain conditions. Also, I am curious if the gun is drop-safe...
I might have the opportunity to purchase a police trade-in P7M13 for $850 very soon. Does this sound like a good price assuming it is in good condition?
Check out this link for a gun vase. I'm gonna get my wife one for her birthday. She doesn't really like guns, though. I'm a good husband.

The irony is that I bet this item is supposed to be making an anti-gun statement; "peace" piece, if you...
Is the Mosin Nagant capable of longe-range accuracy with a quality scope? It seems like 100 yards or slightly more is the only distance I hear about with regards to the accuracy/practical range of these rifles.
I went to a local gun show yesterday, and as usual they had the local FW police there at the entrance to zip-tie any weapons that people bring in, presumably to sell, etc. They also had a sign that said "No Loaded Weapons, this includes concealed carry permit holders...yadda, yadda..."
