Blowback Operated-Heizer PKO 45 Range Report Part 1

I am with you bro, I thought the gun was smaller despite all the photos I came across. There is a comparison pic on the internet with a Officers model 1911. Its essentially the same length and height, but way thinner. It makes sense when you put it a light jacket's pocket, it doesn't really...

Blowback Operated-Heizer PKO 45 Range Report Part 1

Having rented a CM45 before. This is considerably thinner and easier for at least for me to shoot. Felt recoil was less noticeable and seemed more controllable with less twist. I also found the slide easier to rack. PKO45 mitigates muzzle flip to a much higher degree. CM45 is pretty impressive.

    Gimmick or effective?

I saw these at a local gun store. In my jurisdiction the legality is questionable. The only thing I know for sure is they were $46 for a box of 20.

Anyone else luck out with a budget pistol?

I had the chance to handle one of these, it seems like a real lot of pistol for not a lot of money. I think the one I was toying with was around $185 or so. I thought it looked sharp!

Heizer Defense PKO 45 Autoloading Pistol

I did find a size comparison between a 3" officer's model 1911 and this firearm. Granted a blowback vs a locked breech.

    Pick one firearm

Get yourself a nice old Colt, A revolver or early semi auto. Seems like a good use of a $1000 bucks to me.
