    Would you replace this die?

I have polished those out with a nylon slotted 22 cleaning tip, a short section of cleaning rod, a tight cotton patch, a bit of JB Bore Paste, chucked up in a electric drill. With a properly hardened die no damage will be done. Clean well when done.

75gr Hornady OTM with H 4895 will shoot good with 1 in 9 barrels. This is my match load in prepped LC brass.

    223 Primers and Powder

Strongly suggest you invest in a carbide primer pocket uniforming tool. Primer pocket depth can vary considerably in depth and flatness.

    Redding FL 9MM Sizing Die

This die does not appear to have a carbide resizing insert. Lube cases well and try again. I would recommend a traditional lube/pad method.

    Tumbling old brass

Depending on age, it could have had a mercuric primer. If so, its not worth the effort.

    Pure lead <PB> bullets

Hard shot could have 6-8 percent antimony. Also arsenic. Smelt it outside and add a bit of tin. Bullets will be hard.
