So I was in the market for a new truck gun. I knew it would be a semi auto and I had decided on the 9mm. Never having been a fan of the cartridge it's hard to deny the results of today's ammo. I really prefer a hammer fired pistol over striker fired pistols. Just my personal preference, nothing...
I recently bought the ruger. Great quality firearm. Very happy with it.
I had previously owned a first generation delta elite. Also a great gun. Put many rounds through it. Only got rid of it because it started to become collectible and worth considerably more than I paid for it. Began to feel...
I picked up a new Ruger 1911 in 10mm for $800. But if only allowed to pick one, it would be the 44 magnum. You can always shoot specials out of it if you don't need full power

I cycle fresh ammo into it every 3 months as rimfire are more susceptible to oil invasion than center fire cartridges.
I don't get as many reloads per case with nickel. My 357 nickel cases split around the mouth after 4 or 5 reloads. Not consistently, but more often than brass.
I purchased from Brownells, two low scope rings and a 20 round magazine for my mini 14. From Cabellas, two mouth blown predator calls and a motorized decoy
