It's 22 Tuesday. These have all been tinkered with and the Marvel is headed to the range today.

A 22 rifle that just plain fits

Nice group of rifles Steve. I had a Marlin 2000 for a while. A really under rated 22. What brand vernier sight is on the Henry?

    Stealth Arms Platypus

I haven't found anything yet. If you're competing or have generally sweaty hands the grip texture could be an issue. I kept mine plain colorwise in case I didn't like it and wanted to sell.

Glock mags are the appealing part. Good 2011 mags are really expensive.

I don't own Glocks anymore. It came with 2 magazines and I bought a third.

    Acme Bullets has new owners.

I have 17 boxes currently. Some full, some not. My granddaughter uses them for storing film negatives.

    Stealth Arms Platypus

Might be the name :) Might be the long wait (up to 16-17 weeks). My favorite LGS is a dealer and when they get one in its out the door in about a day. As soon as the 45acp version is available I'll be ordering one.

    Acme Bullets has new owners.

Glad to already hear from someone familiar with them. I'll be making a trip up there in May and/or June to check them out.

    Acme Bullets has new owners.

From the Acme website - Our History We are excited to announce that the ownership of Acme Bullet Company has passed to Mitch and Kelsie Coyour and relocated to Frederic Wisconsin in March 2024. Acme Bullet Company was founded in 2012 in Germantown Wisconsin. We have acquired the inventory...

    Stealth Arms Platypus

If you don't know, this is a 1911 that takes Glock mags. Have had mine for about a week or so and am really, really impressed. Very accurate. Very well built. Very fast. Has handled the 5 or 6 types of ammo (probably close to 400 rounds) with zero issues. Haven't shot it off of a rest yet but so...

    Big deception with S&B lpp

Squibs are always user error. Doesn't matter how long you've been reloading or how many bazillions of rounds you've reloaded. There are a lot of reasons for hang fires and only 1 of them is the primer being bad.

    Things to Not Do

Classes like these are sometimes found in sales/management training. At one point in my life I participated in and then taught them as part of a training course.

    S&W M&P “All Metal” Pistols

It means I didn't have enough coffee. Should be THR. The triggers on the Canik"s were a couple of steps better than the S&W's.

    S&W M&P “All Metal” Pistols

An excellent point. I'm looking at the big picture and who controls the supply chain. Probably a bit esoteric for THR. To stay on topic - Tuesday I looked at and handled the Canik and S&W all metal offerings at the shooting range/gun store. We were doing a metal vs polymer exercise. I preferred...

    S&W M&P “All Metal” Pistols

One of my favorite pics on THR. The more things change, the more they stay the same.

    S&W M&P “All Metal” Pistols

IMO this has little to do with customer preference and more to do with long term business survival. The west is currently trending towards restricting the use of oil for anything. Companies that rely on plastics will need to adjust. Firearm manufacturers seem to be getting ahead of the curve...

How Many Extra Magazines Per Handgun?

I solved some of the mag clutter with uplula mag loaders. You do need 3 of them though. 1 for double stack, 1 for single stack and 1 for rimfire.

How Many Extra Magazines Per Handgun?

Except for 1911s I like to have enough mags to load 50 rounds - 3ish. Lots of 1911 mags here.

Looking for a Handgun for Work

None of this involves talking to your employer and getting things in writing, which is the correct thing to do.
