So I've owned numerous pump guns over the years, but decided to dip my toes in the auto waters with a Stoeger m3000 freedom series. I know normal maintenance on my pumps is lube the rails and bolt followed by wiping the bolt off with a clean rag. On a semi auto how much and what type of lube do...

I have some jhp ammo my dad gave me that he's had sitting around for God only knows how long. I don't plan on shooting it, just pulling to reload. They appear to be winchester black talons or rangers, however they're in brass cases. I've done a lot of looking and can't find either talon or...
I was wondering if anyone knows of anywhere that I can buy the : 2 pins, ball bearing, and spring that comes in oberndorf style trigger guard assemblies. I ordered the part through eBay (as I'll never do again) and it came complete with all the pins and small parts, however while in the process...
That's what I'd normally do, but where this is factory Parker it seems like more protection coating the bad factory parkarization with alumahyde as a double layer as opposed to stripping the old parkerizing to do it again. I can tell this factory coat is somewhat better than the 870s turned out...
If it wears a little that's fine I just don't want to spray it then realize the pump won't go over it.
Call me paranoid, but I still always ask the good people on this forum for their experience with products and methods before ever actually modifying anything I own from factory (even paint). I...
Not without taking off the parkerizing it's an Express. I'm wanting to hit it with some alumahyde to prevent Remington rust (which I've dealt with before). Considered cerakote but I can't justify paying as much for a coating as I did the gun.
Thanks for the input everyone I'm going to try to find a gunsmith willing to do it. So far I've messaged a small time gunsmith in my state and they read, but didn't reply to my message. I also contacted Midwest who were very nice but said they didn't do it. Can anyone recommend a few places to...
Any tips on changing the whole rivet and making it match an antique wingmaster? I don't have a single gunsmith anywhere nearby so I'd prefer to learn to do it myself for the experience rather than mail it away to be repaired.
I also already have the punch set and drill bit.
Edit: it's also not...
I recently had my ejector break (due to my own impatience when deep cleaning.) I got a new one and peened it in place with what I had remaining of the front rivet. It appears to be in place and did fine with a light range test (10-20 shells). However on all the others I've seen it appears they...
