    Squirrel pistol.

Another vote for the buckmark. Both of mine (hunter and a stainless slab side) are more than accurate enough for squirrels. I have not checked prices lately but I am sure you can find one sub $500.

What are we going to do, what are the alternatives?

Everyone just needs to relax. This too will pass. As for me, I have rediscovered how fun busting clay pigeons can be. There seems to be no end to the supply of 12 ga target loads around my area.

    Recommendations for sporting clays

I use a Remington 1100 for clays, pheasants and deer. I just swap barrels. I shot clays over xmas with a friend of mine. I had the opportunity to use his benelli nova for a while (with large orange front bead) and really enjoyed the quick pick up. I didn't shoot any better with one or the...

    Extracting severed case from chamber?

Same thing happened to me with my 357 Henry. I had to order a broken case extractor. A quick internet search brought this up. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07QS5N786/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_ZkhZFbYR72PQS I have no experience with this item specifically, but it looks like what I used to resolve my...

If you carry bigger than a pocket gun, what method of concealment?

I carry a Glock 22 in a galco shoulder holster during the cooler months. Otherwise my p365 is always in my front left pocket.

Scope suggestions for Ruger Precision Rifle 22

I am really liking the vortex crossfire 2-7x rimfire scope I picked up for around $120 on midway. I have it mounted on a 10/22 and it's more than adequate.

Inferior but nostalgic firearm you have to have?

Do my k31s count? They are heavy and hard to scope (minus the Swiss products mount), but man are they fun.

Think I'm gonna get another plinking semi-auto .22 rifle.

I was just about to suggest a Henry. I recently put a vortex red dot on my Golden Boy, and it has quickly become my favorite gallery rifle for when I'm fooling around. Plus then you can use even the cheapest ammo with no worries with FTF or FTE

    Aim X Grade Glocks

First, I've never had a bad experience with AIM. I bet I have bought 10-12 guns from them. One of those guns was a X-grade p229 in 40 last year. While there was considerable finish wear (which was outlined in the pistol's description), the gun I received was fully functional. Just don't go in...

recs for a 22 target pistol

I also have fairly large hands and really enjoy shooting my Buckmark Hunter. It gets shot far more than any other pistol I own.

    Taurus G2

I purchased one as a gift for my father as a tractor gun. It has stood up well so far. I am debating purchasing a few more locally when they come back on sale for sub 200.

    Buckmark Grips

I have the exact same model as you. The grips on my buckmark are fairly dark, but you can see the grain under the bright light. So far, the gun has been a fantastic plinker after I installed an aftermarket firing pin.

I love my p10c, but the mags are fairly expensive.

One Glock to rule them all

I love my police trade-in 22 gen 4. I use a 9mm conversion barrel for cheap plinking, and I carry it with the standard 40 barrel in the winter. So the 22 would be my answer. I would probably buy three or four more if I didn't already have a wish list a mile long.
