    .32 Automatic Defensive Loads

While on the more expensive side of the spectrum, Buffalo Bore makes a good Hardcast Flat Nose for the .32acp. I bought a box of 20 sometime ago and through my Zastava it shot great. At 1100fps, it’s a stout little round.

    S&W help

I appreciate the thought. Made some good memories this weekend with my 3 boys and some wadcutter’s.

    S&W help

Removed the 4 screws and the grips, the small space by where the frame and the main spring is, easy to pop up.

    S&W help

Sorry for the blurriness, my phone wouldn't focus on something that small.

    S&W help

Wanted to thank everyone for the great information. Pulled the plate thinking there would be 100 years of crud, evidently my father meticulously kept the revolver pristine. It may only get to shoot a few wadcutter’s and it’s time to find a set of original grips.

    S&W help

Very tight. I don’t believe it was shot a lot.

    S&W help

My father recently passed away and in the course of cleaning out a few closets, this came into my possession. My knowledge on S&W revolvers is limited and was trying to figure out what model it was? Or year produced. My thanks in advance.

    Youth inline?

You mean something like this? A short, .32cal inline muzzleloader? I have 2 of the Marathon First shot rifles, great little front stuffers.

The 32 acp…love it or hate it.

For the life of me, I cannot remember where I ordered it from.

Military Heritage- Firearms or finger eliminators?

I own 2 from Military Heritage, while the barrel metal isn’t what I would call superb, it’s definitely safe. Out of the trade gun(smoothbore.62), I’ve loaded 90 grains 2f and shot it at least 20 times and had no I’ll effect. For the price, it’s a gun that’ll work, but it’s not exceptional quality.

If carrying a .380: Which One?

Not on the list, but just brought home yesterday a Taurus Spectrum. I had a Curve which I absolutely hated, but the Spectrum is a pleasant surprise for a .380.

The 32 acp…love it or hate it.

I’ve been known to carry my little Zastava from time to time. The .32acp is such an easy shooting round.

    Night stand choice

My EDC is also the night stand pistol. CA .32 Magnum. I load the ,Speer 90grn JSP for 1100fps.

    .32 h&r magnum absence

I was lucky enough to find the HBWC and the Speer JSP on Gunbroker for a fairly decent price. Reloading at the moment is going to be the normal. The JSP shoots 1200fps (great round for EDC). I emailed Federal several times to ramp up factory ammo, but I haven’t seen much on the shelves.

The Best Handgun Cartridge For You?

I carry the .32H&R everyday, I reload my own(not much choice) that way I know what it’s capable of when I pull the trigger.

    Heritage rough rider

For the price, it’s way to much fun. mine started out with the crappy factory finish, with a little elbow grease and polishing, I got exactly what I want. And for $100.

    Zastava M70 pistol Opinions

I could give a bunch of reasons why I don’t like mine, but the 2 reasons I like it outweighs the con’s. The weight keeps the recoil to nothing, and it’s extremely accurate. Above all, just fun to shoot.

    Charter 32HR 6 shot #73220

I agree, 1200fps was a bit much. I’m going to try the expansion in my homemade gel this weekend.

    Charter 32HR 6 shot #73220

Spent Saturday out in the reloading shed making up some recipes for Sunday morning. Made up 12 100grn Speer JSP with 11grn of lil Gun powder, magnum SPP. For a .32, the recoil wasn’t bad, but you can definitely tell it was fired. Muzzle blast was beyond loud! The chrono read 1200fps on all...

    Help identifying

A quick update on the history of the smoothbore. @Ephraim Kibbey so kindly found the original maker, I decided to dig in and have the gun appraised. The gun was made in 1858 by W.D.Carlton under contract from Springfield to take rifled barrels, rebore smooth, attach his breech and sell the...
