    .22 Hornet re-chamber to .218 Bee?

Is this feasable? Quick glance shows the Bee is fatter, however, the OAL of case is shorter at 1.345" than the Hornet @ 1.403". I have always wanted a Bee, but rifles are so hard to find. Wondered if a Hornet could be made into a Bee. Single shot might be easier as I don't know about magazine issue.

    6.8 SPC 6.5 Grendal

Oh heck yeah!!! The Swede is so successful, many folks have necked it down to 6mm and are winning competitions with it. Some guys have necked it up to 6.8mm and dubbed it the 6.8 SSPC (super special precision cartridge) in custom intermediate length Yugo actions for a slight edge over that old...

    6.8 SPC 6.5 Grendal

Ahhhh, The old "long action inferiority-cuz-I-got-nothing-else" argument. Pretty certain those same high b.c. bullets you talk about will be doing ANYTHING the same as Creedmoor, when they get driven the same velocity or even a tad more outta my 1:8 twist 24" Ruger SWEDE. (Swiss?) I swear...

    6.8 SPC 6.5 Grendal

The Creedmoor took practically a full decade after birth to suddenly explode........(marketing vs. reality) The Grendel has done well as an AR round even despite the AR troubles politically suffered. Poop on the Creedmoor, my Swede isn't inferior in any way...

    6.8 SPC 6.5 Grendal

Coproduct sales? Ok...... But as far as my eye can see, 6.5 Creedmoor has pushed nearly everything in 6.5 OFF the shelves at my LGS and Cabela's. Although Cabela's did have two (2) boxes of the new 6.5 PRC. Look, I am NOT so anti 6.8SPC, but Grendel has pretty much overtaken and is running...

    6.8 SPC 6.5 Grendal

Hell, There are plenty of 6.5 Grendel bolt guns being made for you now with nice long barrels (or medium) and wood stocks. CZ 527's and Howa and Ruger come to mind. You don't need to jump on that Creedmoor wagon.....

    6.8 SPC 6.5 Grendal

Grendel= ability at moderate to longer ranges. Grendel= more factory ammo available. Grendel= wider range of bullet weight for reloaders. Grendel= more availability of current AR or Bolt platforms & parts. In the context of this OP if you restrict this conversation to deer, say within 200 yards...

My new favorite handgun- S&W Model 15 Combat Masterpiece

Way back in 1983, I carried and qualified NRA Distinguished Police Expert with a model 67 while with a federal agency. In the mid 90's I bought a brand new model 15 with the heavier profile barrel and uncle mikes. Used it as a Boston PD Special. Couldn't seem to miss. Sold it when That gig...

Is a shipping & mailing store considered a Post Office?

They are NOT a USPS facility. These types of private venues are just that......Private property. Short of the owner or business leasing the property posting "No Firearms", Stop overthinking it.

    Ultimate Bear Stopper

In the context of the OP, I think we all agree placement is probably most important factor. Since in this scenario, I was hunting deer on Kodiak Island, it would be with my mauser bolt 6.5x55. On my hip, and quickly being drawn, would be my Redhawk in .45 Colt. Heavy/hardcast HSM or Reeds bear...
